Can she just try to heal strain?
Shadows in the Light (OOC)

The longest you would have been stuck here would be around 2.5 years. That's about when they started sending additional slaves to this facility. You need to decide if he has any inclination to go back to the rebel alliance if he gets off of this moon. Is he committed to the goal of ending the imperial oppression or was he just in it for the chance to fly some nice fighters and blow some sheet up?
Whoa whoa whoa... non edge careers!?! /OMGWTFBBQ!! - Nah, totally playing around. No objections here.
Nothing wrong with blowing sheet up. Khaine always approves of moar dakka.

She needs to get advantage to do it:
Casea healing Strain (First aid)
:
2eA+2eP+1eB
2 successes, 4 advantage
Thats 4 strain healed from Tox
Nice! Back to perfect health!
Ok, so the three of you (Tox, Khaine and S'zish) head down the lift then? Casea will protest if you suggest that she come too.
Also I will be away this weekend through Tuesday so I'll have infrequent posting.
In the mean time, lets settle on the two new characters and get their stats linked up.
@Darzil , I have given out about 3 thousand credits worth of loot/gear to the other members. You can use that to get yourself some equipment, but try and make it make sense for the area you're in.
Edited by RyodenI don't see any reason why not, let's head down the lift.
If Casea isn't coming can she at least get us in touch with the resistance down there? Is this going to be a chapter break or will that perhaps be coming up soon?
The three of you enter the turbolift and get ready to descend. Casea's voice comes in over your com link's " Ok guys, the way below looks clear still. I'm trying to contact the Insurgents but it has always been spotty talking to them. If I get them on the line I'll try and patch them through to you. Alright sending you down now"
The lift vibrates under your feet and the momentary lapse in gravity tells you, you are on your way. One side of the lift is a plexi view and you can see the walls of the tube slide up. Suddenly the wall ends and you can see out through the port.
In front of you is a cityscape lit by an eerie shimmering light. Above and around the circular city is a force field that emits a steady trickle of illumination. Below you a city is built into the center of a round forest area. Scattered throughout the city are tall tower structures that seem to support the force field. The turbolift shaft descends into the structure of one of these towers and girders and beams begin flying past the quickly moving car. A few moments later the original buildings of the herd ship rise to meet you and Casea speaks to you again. "Nearly there. I'll open the door after a moment to make sure nothing moves." The lift slows to a stop and a few tense moments go by before you hear "All clear. Good luck"
The city is quiet and barren. Around you there seem to be abandoned residences and shops but all are closed and empty. You head out and circuit the tower structure with the lift leading back to the C-ROC. The immediate area does seem to be empty but you do notice several things.
To the front towards the middle of the city the buildings begin to grow in size and it seems an office district begins. Within the ground floor of a larger building you find about a dozen small speeder cars parked and waiting.
To the rear the city suddenly stops at the edge of a forest canopy, A railing prevents a fall to the forest floor about 20 meters below.
To the left the residential buildings continue along this perimeter of the city without any obvious change.
To the right there are sounds of construction equipment and heavy machinery echoing towards you.
We'll make sure that she has our comm frequencies before we go so she can talk to us. I forgot to mention that.
edit: I probably didn't need to, but I've been reading stories of advesarial game masters lately so I had a moment of cover our rear.
Edited by AhrimonSo, I'm having trouble picturing this. I googled some pictures of herdships to help, and it may have. So, we have a herdship, which is sealed and has jungle inside it. That ship is sitting in a valley covered by a shield and dirt to hide it. There are buildings and such outside the herdship and we can hear mining coming from that way?
I think my confusion is that all of the images of herdships showed them to be sealed, but in your description it sounds like the interior of the herdship is exposed and only the big shield is what is protecting it and everyone else.
This was the image I was basing my description on. Those jungle areas wouldn't be exposed to space so I added in that a force field surrounded the entire upper surface of the ship. That is the blue area. But in order for that force field to support the dirt and debris it needed to be strengthened. so the towers were built to hold working ship reactors to tie into the shield generators and power the shield. Under normal operation the shield would keep atmosphere inside the ship and provide enough light for the jungle areas to photosynthesize.
Presumably there would be areas below or adjacent to the ship where the mine is accessed. That could explain the noises.

Soon (tm)
So do we want to try and find the ships control area, head towards the mine, or something else?

Thank you. I remembered you posting that picture, but couldn't find it and didn't quite remember the details. I'm following along now.

Hmm, I'm really not sure what the best course of action would be. We could probably jack one of those speeder cars that belonged to one of the patrons to start. The control center would probably be a good idea, or at least somewhere where we can disable the outside communications. If they get a distress signal off the fleet may come back.
Sounds like a good a plan as any!
How will we know if the resistance are coming to meet us? And how do we know its them so we dont blast them
Something you would have noticed during the ride down. At the center of the city there is a particularly large tower structure with what looks to include some mechanism for ships to pass in and out of the force field. From above the moon this portal would have been obscured by the pile of debris at the center of the valley.
Now our main problem is finding where their control center is...
Edited by Imperial StormtrooperI'll bet Neelig can guide us.

@Mattimeo84 I'm guessing they'll be the only non- Zygerrians we meet that are armed or at least not obviously enslaved.
Forgot the "non"
Edited by AhrimonSo would Neelig know, or should we head towards the office district? The office district seems the most probable direction from here that the control center would be.
Edited by Imperial StormtrooperBetter Explanation
That tower is the most likely place for it. I would wager that since it's the docking and entrance tower it's probably the control tower for the area. Take that and we could probably hold off reinforcements for a while.
I say we grab a speeder, stay low until we reach a more habitable area and then start working our way through the back streets and sneak the rest of the way in.
The speeders are all of the variety that VIPs use so they don't have to walk around on their own feet. Nothing stupid fast or rugged. There doesn't seem to be any mounted weapons on them either. Another thing they all have in common is that they are powered down and locked. If you are intent on using one of the speeders instead of sneaking around you should explain how you are going to get one working for you.
Locked? Who locks a speeder in Star Wars? The heroes always run up, grab a speeder, and away they take off... Hmmm... Locked it is. (LOL, just playing around in case the humor isn't obvious)
None of us have any slicing skills that I'm aware of, I may be able to hotwire one with mechanics but I think we're better off sneaking our way over there. All in favor of sneaking, click like.
Stealth mode it is, shall we start?
Edited by Imperial StormtrooperThat makes three. Be very, very quiet.
Don't forget your boost dice for your blackened padded armor.
