You go outside (after putting your suit back on) and start to collect the droids. As you load the DUMs and the MiniMeds into the airlock you notice that the moon is rotating to its "night" side. There is no real dusk so in a few more minutes it will be probably be full dark.

Advantage saved for a future boost.

No the advantage let you notice that it is going to be dark soon. If you would rather push a boost to the next allied roll then ignore what I posted.
I think knowing the dark is better. No boost.
Hey guys I haven't read through the most recent events yet - I just wanted to let everyone know that yesterday and today are full of meetings for me. Sorry for any inconvenience, I'll be catching up tonight. With E3 going on and with meetings this week, it's kind of a busy time for me :/
There was something about night. Don't those critters come out at night? Also, we should probably shut down the YT, or at least turn off the lights so it's not visible in the dark.
Is Tox going to have the DUM droids start removing the S-Foils from the Tie and placing the body into the YT?
Currently just load up and carry the gear. Tox doesn't have anywhere near enough mechanics skill to try and have them remove the foils unless grace and poise isn't required (hit it with a hammer till it works method).
I just figured tell them to do it. It's a 2eA+1eB check which should be simple enough with the available tools. Perhaps even another boost die for the repulsor clamp to hold things up while they work. But Khaine can always come out and help once he's done with the terminal.

You would have finished up the console repair about now. If you head outside you would be crossing paths with Tox as she comes back in.
S'zish would probably also want to help disassemble the TIE, only if help if needed of course.
Do you guys remember exactly what part you are looking for?
The targeting computer, right?
Yes, but all the talk has been about trying to get the whole fuselage into the YT-1000. Logistically, while that may require less finesse than opening one up and taking the desired part, it would not be necessarily achieve your goal. The targeting computer in this particular TIE could be useless.
Besides a Tie fighter fuselage is pretty darn big. I don't think it would be easy to cram one into the YT.
Edited by RyodenHmm, I guess I had made that assumption that without the wings it should fit. I didn't think the bodies were much more than seven or 8 feet tall. Looks like 2.2m which is 7' 3". Will that fit? But you are right that we need to check if the targeting computer is any good. I will set about doing that.
There's also the option of welding this thing over the cockpit and wiring it's flight controls into the C-Roc if they are any good. I guess I want to do a full systems check on it.
It takes you a minute to get your suit on and as Tox mentioned, it is significantly darker out there than you remembered. The gas giant you are orbiting is setting fast in the far horizon.
Make an easy perception check.

Looks good to me... I'll make sure my suit lights are on so I can see to work in the dark.
When you get started on a Mechanics roll it will represent not just your ability to do the work but also the chance of extracting the part you are trying to find.
But before we get to that.
You start removing panels and opening hatches on the Tie Fighter fuselage. You have your upper body wedged inside of a access panel when suddenly a roaring hurricane-force wind slams into you. Dust and grit is being whipped around with enough force that the visor on your helmet starts pitting and scratching. Visibility is as poor as when you created the cloud in the previous valley.
The force of the wind pulls you from where you were perched on the Tie Fighter and you end up prone on the ground in the dark with no visibility. Make a simple discipline check to retain your bearings and sense of direction.
Edited by RyodenAnd.... Now I remember you mentioning something about storms...
I get knocked down...

There was a patron who mentioned something about needing to get a ship out before the winds come.
In order to move anywhere or even regain your feet you'll need to make a hard Athletics check. The soft fabric of your suit is quickly deteriorating under the barrage of blasting sand and grit so you need to move somewhere now .
Where do you go?
Well, the closest place is is the TIE.
Gonna die...

Lift yourself to your feet intending to enter the cockpit of the Tie Fighter when a gust of wind literally picks you up and slam you against the hull of the C-ROC.
You suffer a point of strain for the threat.
Understand that the winds are not linear. Meaning they are not all blowing in the same direction. One gust will move to the left when the next changes direction and heads back to the right.
What do you do?
By the way I'm going to flip a destiny point and upgrade your next check
Since I'm up against the C-Roc I'll make my way towards the cockpit or hatch, whichever comes first. Does the suit have magnetic clamps on the boots? Can I use my brace talent in some way?
