Edited by AhrimonI posted the top of the next round in the IC thread. Casea moves to head to the deck.
By leaving Neelig in the background, Alsen is still active trying to resist the attack. One player has a chance to act before she attacks again.
Go again @crookedcrown , i believe you can do more stun damage and you are there. Unless we want to end her, then Tox can go as she is there as well.
Yea I'm in position to keep blasting away. Easy check, @Ryoden ?
Yes
Brin makes sure his blaster is still on stun setting, takes a moment to line up his shot, aims at the receptionist and...
Blasting Away in Stun Setting
:
3eA+1eB+1eD
2 successes, 2 advantage
8 strain damage before soak, and enough advantage to crit
Critical Injury Roll : 1d100 54
Inflicting a 'Fearsome Wound' on her
This brings up an interesting question I've never really seen answered with FFGs SW or most any TTRPG. How do you handle stun/subdual/non-lethal crits?
Most times we've usually discussed with the GM to find something appropriate. Like instead of losing a limb they get severe nerve damage and it doesn't work until healed, but the limb is still there. That type of thing.

QuoteSTRAIN DAMAGE AND CRITICAL HITS
Although not always likely, some attacks that deal strain damage (notably stun weapons) can also trigger critical hits. Although this may seem odd, it actually makes sense. When a Player Character inflicts a critical hit on an adversary that can be incapacitated by a single critical hit (such as a minion), then they are simply incapacitated by being rendered unconscious. If PCs or nemesis NPCs suffer a critical hit from a stun weapon, this may be anything from adverse long term effects from the stun weapon to tangential injuries from being stunned (the stun shot could knock them off balance, and they take a nasty crack on the skull when they hit the ground, for example). Of course, since these critical hits would have to be triggered by the players or GM, both parties can always decide that a critical hit would not make sense in that narrative, and choose not to trigger them.
That is beside the fact that the strain damage caused her to slump unconscious and sprawl on the floor. @crookedcrown can spend the advantage on something else if he wishes.
At this point we can drop out of structured combat.
I have heard from @Weedles and Fries and he will be rejoining us soon. He regrets that schoolwork took up his time but I can hardly fault him for focusing on it rather tan this.
Can I stim Khaine then?
If you want to sure.
School works supersedes this for sure. No fault there.
Just now, Ryoden said:If you want to sure.
I use a stim on khaine to revive him
BTW, The remainder of the Zygerrians are crouching in a cluster on the floor with their arms covering their heads.

The stimpak reduces his wounds by 5 (in this case that revives him but remember that if you exceed your threshold you still take those wounds. if you get healing you may not necessarily go below your WT)
Edited by RyodenIf we can recover strain at end of encounter:
Calm after the Storm
:
3eA
1 success, 3 advantage
1, almost not worth it

Remember that I ruled that is still a check "in combat", so if you want to use those advantage to reduce strain you can.
So 4 total? Even better!
my mind is shot today
@Hinklemar , Fzaexx will shortly be entering into the ship just down the hall from where Casea is waiting for the Turbolift. When she sees him would she be able to see that he is carrying the Med Kit?

I completely missed that sidebar and feel silly now.

Yay!
Discipline
:
1eA+1eP
0 successes, 3 advantage
Does this still fall under your ruling since I have 0 successes? If so, I'll recover 3 strain.
Tox's Stimpack will put me at 11 wounds and I'll go ahead and use another to be at 7 wounds.
I should be able to get my IC post up for near the end of combat today
End of Combat
:
1eP+2eA
3 successes, 3 advantage
ooo, so 6 strain back.
EDIT: Only had 4, could I give a boost die to someone else's strain recovery?
Edited by Imperial StormtrooperSure, that leaves only Brin and Fzaexx at this point.
Cool Strain Recovery
:
2eA+1eP
1 success, 3 advantage
so that's 4 strain recovered I guess? If anyone needs a boost die to add to this check, I still have those two advantage from the last attack.
I had already rolled or I would have gladly taken them.
You guys should remember this for next time. Hate to see wasted advantage.
Story of my life...
Can Tox use her synth rope to tie up Alsen? She left her binders on the ship.
Dependent on the skill check required, she may loan the rope to another PC as well.
