@Mattimeo84 Good point, That's what I'll use the triumph for, I'll edit my above post.

In that case your blast takes down...

3 of them. (1 point shy of 4)

Hardly suggest you're holding anyone up

Typing it up now. I am taking a fair (read "large") amount of creative liberties, combing my two turns into one narrative post. I hope that's ok.

NPC - Casea Aims twice then shoots.

PC - Khaine Holsters Draws Shoots and kills Cyberguy

NPC - Minion group of Guards Move and Attack

PC - Tox Grabs a Grenade, Moves and Tosses it

PC - S'zish moves, aims and shoots.

NPC - Alsen the receptionist pulls out a blaster and fires up at Khaine.

Alsen shooting Khaine : 2eP+1eA+2eD 0 successes

The shots go wide and have no effect.

On his turn, Fzaexx will try to lock down the turbolifts. If that's not possible, he'll try to turn off any lights by the party (hopefully making them harder to see/hit), and if that's not possible he'll warn the group to ignore his message then open shipwide communications and declare a depressurization alarm (trying to stir up confusion/put fear in the enemy).

The Turbolift that leaves the ship is not connected to the ships system so from where you are you can't affect it directly. It is probably powered by the ship in a way. If you dig around in the system you could possibly find a way to take away power from the turbolift. Hard computers check.

You could probably affect the lights if you try to figure out how to do it. Easy computers check.

I'm not sure exactly what would happen if you perused your other idea.

If no one else has anything in mind for this slot, I could inspire the group with some rhetoric XD making a comment about how I'd hate to be one of the many guards that has to fight you lot XD

Eff it, I'll go for broke. I flip a DP and try to cut the power to the turbolift.

http://orokos.com/roll/520091

And ouch, so many fails:

1 failure, 2 advantage

Fzaexx can't figure out how to access that ship system right now, but as he learns more about the system he gets more confident. (Give himself a boost to next roll, which will still likely involve the computer system)

So there's probably no issue if I just go ahead and attempt an inspiring rhetoric to help mitigate all that strain. And I'm going to flip a destiny for it.

Inspire the team! : 2eP+1eA+2eD 3 successes, 1 threat, 1 Triumph
p-tr.png p-s-a.png a-s.png d-th.png d-th.png

3 successes! So at the very least, S'zish, Tox and Khaine will each recover 1 strain. I'd like to use the triumph to have Khaine recover additional strain (a total of 4 strain maybe at GM's discretion?) .. could I even argue for giving Khaine a boost on his next check? Yeah I'm getting greedy, I know XD

As my maneuver, I'm gonna hand Tox one of my stun grenades, and as a second maneuver, I'm gonna take cover from the line of sight of the guards below.

Sorry for the delay, it's been a busy weekend.

So, a triumph is typically able to replace things that require up to 3 advantage. I'll agree the triumph allows Khaine to recover 4 total strain.

At the start of your activation you were a short distance away from the others, doing Inspiring Rhetoric works fine but you'll need to use a Maneuver to move closer before you can hand over any equipment. That would leave you exposed.

The threat causes a point of Strain.

Great so I added another strain, and rather than being behind cover, I handed a grenade off to Tox

Ok, your sheet says frag grenades. Is that right?

Omg it does XD yeah I don't know why I remembered stun grenade.

The patron from before takes a pot shot up at S'zish.

Shooting S'zish : 2eP+1eA+2eD 1 success, 4 advantage
p-a-a.png p-a-a.png a-s-a.png d-th.png d--.png

The attack hits true and does 7 points of damage. The blast hits S'zish in the chest and causes you to add a setback to your next action(2 advantage). He then ducks inside the container out of sight of the party (maneuver) and frantically presses the call button waiting for the doors to open (2 advantage).

Neelig is up

Now it's personal. S'zish takes 3 wounds, so he has suffered 6, half his threshold. Going to need healing soon.

Just to plan our next move while we're waiting on @Weedles and Fries , would anyone mind if for the first PC slot next round S'zish went after/attacked the patron that attacked him?

Yeah I wanna see that happen XD

Keep in mind that even though the entrance to the container with the turbolift is practically below S,zish, there is no simple way of going down there. At this point he has moved out of sight of a shot.

@Weedles and Fries It's your turn now.

I'm gonna guess that @Weedles and Fries is too busy to respond right now.

I'll take over Neelig for this turn and have him move over to where the grate covers an access to a ladder system that heads to the floor. He'll open the grate and climb down the ladder as two maneuvers.

That will then start the fourth round.

NPC - Casea shoots at Alsen the receptionist again:

Casea shooting Alsen take 2 : 2eA+1eB+2eD 0 successes, 3 advantage
a-s-a.png a-a-a.png b-s.png d-f.png d-f.png

Growling at her second miss she drops the riffle at Khaine's feet saying "You'll do better with this than me" pointing at S'zish "and he's been shot" She then Moves back to where she has cover from the enemy below and asks "Did you lot bring any Stim packs or do I need to patch him up the hard way?"

Shell give a boost to the next PC and recover 2 points of strain.

Whom is she wanting to stimpack?

S'zish

@Imperial Stormtrooper wanted to take the first pc slot, he'll go next

I know S'zish wanted a shot at the guy by the elevator. If he comes over here he should be able to take the shot. Who is left on team badguy?

That is not correct. The one who shot S'zish went inside the cargo container to the far end where he is now waiting for the lift. There is no angle on him from the catwalk level.
