So what S'zish would do is wait until they are moving away from him, when they got about a third down the section of the catwalk they're walking down S'zish would start down the same catwalk, hide in the shadows when they make their turn. Then exit the catwalk on the other side as they start down towards the other end.

Okay just so we're both clear on this. I'm viewing this as one of those situations where you won't know how difficult it is until you actually do it. If you're very intent on trying to understand how difficult it is before you attempt you can spend some time watching the guard up top and try to get an appreciation for how observant he is. That will of course take some time and even then he'll get a chance to notice you.
The way I see it, it they're very observant then it won't matter much because their path seems to come so close to the door. If they're not that observant then it won't matter either way, plus the plan I've outlined needs them to turn if they want to see S'zish which gives him a chance to duck into the shadows and has a good chance of eliminating one of the guard's senses from being used to detect S'zish. So I say S'zish is going ahead.
Does S'zish prefer ranged or brawl as preferred emergency backup?
Erm, both?
If there's more on this level, ranged would be able to take them out while S'zish tried to deal with the first guard. But if there's only one and we can keep them quite brawl would be better, so it depends...
Based on quiet arm movements, ala buddy cop movies, Tox closes the gap between her and S'zish by half.
@Imperial Stormtrooper based on how you described your actions, I would say you have two boost die for distance and two for the darkness. However you do have one setback for the lack of cover.
The base difficulty of hiding from the guard is two Challenge dice and one Difficulty die.
+4eB+1eS+2eC+1eD
Roll the dice and I'll describe what you see, hear, etcetera.
Just to confirm too, your goal is to sneak up on the guard and take him out quietly?
What I was thinking is just bypassing the guard into the next area to gather information since taking them out might cause them to miss some kind of check-in.
Dice roll is coming up...
One more boost from stalker

So much advantage, any thoughts?

Hmm... On your way through, you overhear a conversation below you.
I'll post it IC. You'll get a useful tidbit for each advantage. Unless you want to use them for something else.
Nice going! Just let me know if I need to make any kind of check while monitoring things to help S'zish. (Though descriptions of the rooms ahead might be all he needs.)
Fzaexx doing what he has been is certainly factoring into my estimation of how difficult it is for S'zish. I haven't asked you to make any rolls but you are helping.
I think I'll post the snippets of conversation here and then let you incorporate them into your own in character post. Otherwise I'll be posting twice in a row.
In the hold below you sounds are much louder and sharper than were transmitted over the poor quality speakers associated with the internal sensors. You're able to hear much more while sneaking across then you could pick up through the sensors. It seems that this location is used as sort of communal parlor as well. You hear snippets of conversation that are complete enough to make an impression for you.
" ...bet me they weren't coming right back right away. He thinks his Admiral is going to be ordered to hunt down the rebels after the battle..."
"I should get going. Nightfall is in an hour and I have to get a ship out before the winds come."
"Any more trouble down in the mines? I heard a few days ago you had more escapees..."
" ...so nice to sneak up here on..."
" ...progress with Phantom project? I heard they needed to redesign the ion engines..."
" ...strange at first to think they use actual jungles to recycle the air. But I've got to admit the hunting is..."
Once you make your way through the door at the far side of the catwalk you enter another short corridor with some side rooms that house machinery and equipment for the ship. Past that you see through a doorway into a large reactor room but Fzaexx tells you there are no camera feeds for inside. He only gets static when he tries to look at them.

And it's all your fault.

It's because of my fusion lantern, isn't it? If we still had that, the ship would have been running perfectly and ready to go.

1 boost die to next person going to check the walker
2 advantage spent to notice some imperial coms codes. (unknown of course if they work)
No, it's your fault.

Whoa? Seriously? Crap, sorry guys.
I guess we should have tried using the coms code thing.
Haha, don't worry. I only mean that I use what you guys give me in order to create this story. I had no intention of including in any Imperial entanglements until you asked for them.

So just to be clear, I'm not the cause of the depraved sex slavery ring that's going on? Just the imperials involvement?

Well I like to think I've tied everything together nicely, but I'd say it's probably more wheedles and fries fault.
But enough of this for now I don't want to reveal any more of the story that I already have, that was a lot of Advantage though.

I just want to be able to sleep at night...

This could be good news. It may mean that we have more time than we had hoped. It also implies that the Imps are cahooting with the slavers. All the more reason for lots of pews.
6 hours ago, Ryoden said:"I should get going. Nightfall is in an hour and I have to get a ship out before the winds come."
I'm not sure what to think about this one, but it does have me a little concerned about our ship and walker out there. Luckily with Fzaex out there, if things get bad he could always lock the hunchback onto the C-Roc or store it back into the ship.
6 hours ago, Ryoden said:"Any more trouble down in the mines? I heard a few days ago you had more escapees..."
More people to rescue. Good thing we should have a nice large ship to bring people back with.
6 hours ago, Ryoden said:" ...so nice to sneak up here on..."
Sort of confirms that this ship is connected to a larger facility. But how much larger is a mystery. If there are mines below, it could be quite a large facility.

6 hours ago, Ryoden said:" ...strange at first to think they use actual jungles to recycle the air. But I've got to admit the hunting is..."
Could they be referring to a (the) herdship? But since they're talking about hunting it makes me wonder if they have an underground jungle for air filtration. Or perhaps they have the herdship here as part of their base. It may be under the mountain and certainly would explain the ilithorian slaves.

Well, we're going to have to get back there eventually to check out the state of the engines and such. It may not be worth it right now. But we may find something that helps out us too.

Will it be difficult for S'zish to relay this information to us without revealing his presence?
Probably. Everything I posted was totally OOC.

I assume you mean that that is OUT of character knowledge? Otherwise I think you need to flip a DP for Khaine to know anything about TIE Phantoms
Just now, crookedcrown said:Will it be difficult for S'zish to relay this information to us without revealing his presence?
I was going with the idea that he had an open com that transmitted the snippets to the group.
In general if I give information to the party like this, it is ok to assume it is accessible to the whole party. Unless of course I specify otherwise.
