Looked like they were walking around the hold.

Yes! Alright, who's that Hammerhead?

Its been 4 years, and you could hardly be expected to know every Ithorian on the herd ship by name, but you think that woman worked in the tropical gardens area.

They seem to be spread around the cargo hold.

Its not like you knew every Ithorian on the herd ship, but you think you recognise this woman. She worked for the tropical gardens area.

Went ahead and post IC. Neelig is doing what he can to not explode right now.

He didn't react as harshly on the outside as I thought he would originally, he's trying to not take it out on the others......but he is ticked beyond belief.

I'd be fine if Brin wanted to do a Leadership or Charm check (or anyone else as well) to try and calm him down. Neelig would react to it depending on the result, meaning he could possibly be diffused a bit or pushed over the edge or something in between depending on the roll.

As long as Ryoden is alright with it.

He he, Did I ever tell you the story of the time I asked my DM for a dire weasel for my Druid? The phrase "kill them all, get them the f*ck off of me" was used.

After I reach the access hatch I'll cycle it open and step inside. Khaine will pause for a brief moment to see if anyone followed him then close the outer door and start the process to enter the ship.

Tox follows

Woah woah XD at that Brin will definitely attempt a leadership check to calm Neelig down while we figure out what we're gonna do here! XD

also still wondering if we can attempt to recognize anyone in the feeds using underworld (not sure if you answered)

Sorry I missed this.. One sec.

Before I enter the fray, can I switch out equipment with what I left on the ship? Does that cost me anything (actions) or can I just note on my sheet what I have equipped and what I am storing on the ship?

Since it appears that the situation I have described is evoking some rash actions from the players I think it may be appropriate to give everyone a chance to chime in before you all have fun storming the castle

(Ya think it'll work?)

(It'd take a miracle.)

(Bye bye!)

So far Neelig and Khaine have moved to immediately enter the C-ROC. Brin wants to use his Leadership Skill affect your reactions. Tox wants to head back to the YT to re-equip and Fzaexx and S'zish have not declared actions.

@Weedles and Fries , @Ahrimon If you're willing, make a Cool or Discipline roll and use his Leadership skill as skilled assistance. His Leadership score is one rank and he has a presence of 3.

You know how pressing this situation is to your character so you select the difficulty.

Edited by Ryoden

I'm ready to dive right in if that's what the group decides. Nothing is dire, except slavery

The difficulty for the Cool or Discipline check should be up to you. You are the one deciding on how this is affecting your character.

Was this directed towards Tox, or them, or a rethought? Im a little confused, sorry. Still working on my coffee

I edited the original statement and added another post in case the edit was missed. If you think Tox would need convincing to keep from charging in recklessly then you can make the roll too.

Also still wondering if we can attempt to recognize anyone in the feeds using Underworld knowledge ^_^;; I asked twice but you're facilitating a lot of decisions and checks so I didn't want to be pushy.

Gotcha, I didn't refresh. just said show reply. Thanks for bearing with me.

I think based on her backstory she is ready to dive right in (hates people mistreating others, injustice), but due to her martial arts training, knows its best to go prepared. So shes torn. If the group goes in, she will be right there with them.

Right sorry, not intentionally ignoring the question. It would a Daunting difficulty for you to recognize and know specific Zygerrians you see on the feed.

I am thinking Average Difficulty plus a setback. Her back story isn't quite as harrowing as Khaine, nor does she have the personal connection of Neelig, hence average, not hard. She's ready to jump into the fray, but her emotions aren't completely in check. So 3eA+2eD+1eS

Is that ok? Kind of 2.5 instead of either 2 or 3

I have not done this before, can you explain?

Haha that's cool. I don't exactly expect results, it just seemed like a sensible and natural move to make if we're looking at the feeds.

Underworld Knowledge : 1eA+1eP+4eD 3 successes, 5 threat
a-s-s.png p-s-a.png d-th-th.png d-th.png d-th.png d-th-th.png

OKAY UHHH

........... Didn't expect to recognize anybody....... And all that threat... Is there someone really dangerous here or somebody that one of us knows?? What does it all mean?? XD XD XD

Just throwing it out there, we can pull a 'chewbacca on the death star' and pretend to sell Neelig to them if they're interested in hammerheads just to gain some leverage or to get closer to someone important that we can use as leverage. Assuming everybody here regards slavery as quite heinous and we're all itching to act. This idea may change based on what @Ryoden says about the underworld check.

Tox is also the only female in the group, so she could be sold out as well. I thought about that too. But I don't know how I feel about actually doing it.

Yea I was worried that would sound super skeezy, but Brin's first impulse is never to jump in guns blazing, so he's going to want to rally everyone and make a plan... even if that plan goes to hell in short order, as is the nature of Star Wars ;)

When you get skilled assistance you can substitute his ranks (in leadership) for your ranks (in Discipline). Means you get an Upgrade.

So if two people were working together to do something. The first has an ability score of 4 and one rank (GGGY) but the second had an ability score of two and four ranks (GGYY) they would use the better of each to make their die pool (YYYY)

That being said. Don't make the check if you don't want to. This is only for role playing guidance. You can just decide on what your character does.

... You still dont recognize any of the Zygerrians specifically. No one there is important enough for you to have specific knowelege of. What you do recognize is the insignia on the clothing of newcomer (the guy asking for fresh stock)

He is a member of the royal cast within the Zygerrian slave monarchy. That means to Brin that this is no small time slave operation. The Royal cast only involves themselves when the slaves number in the tens of thousands.

You do recognize one figure chained to the back of a cargo pod though. It's Dahj.

D:

Actual jaw drop.

Did not see coming.

Not sure what to do next.

I feel like I have to roll some kind of cool check to keep my **** together. I want to communicate to everybody what I know about the Zygerrian slave monarchy, and I want to start thinking to myself about how to get Dahj out of there, but I think I'm as shocked as Brin is. Still processing this!!!

Aggressively negotiate the release of all the slaves including Dahj...? Or act selfishly and try to free only Dahj... at the cost of my new team's safety... can't fall into old patterns.....

Oh, GM, you rascal.

Kill all the pimps!
