Shadows in the Light (OOC)

By Ryoden, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

FYI, since I had the 2nd post in the OOC chat. I added the list of stuff we purchased, a link to mud pond salvage, and the dice roller chart.

Nice!

Sweet! Can you try and keep that updated?

Hmm. Khaine wants to look around and see if there's an emergency forcefield, bulkhead, or something that can be used to seal the bridge so we can open the door without depressurizing the ship. Otherwise we may have to find some scrap and use the Hunchback to weld a patch onto the hole. But that would seal anyone on the inside in with no exit.

Perhaps we can flip a DP to use a thick plastic tarp on the inside to keep most of the air in when we open the hatch. Sort of like in the The Martian.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

Sure. If anyone took some stuff from the group shopping list, just send me a message and I'll update the list with who has what.

I can try to squeeze on in with the rest of you. Don't know exactly how well it's going to go, considering his abysmal Agility. What sort of Difficulty am I looking at?

I took the Surveyor's bag, a canteen, an entrenching tool and my poor destroyed fusion lantern.

2eB+1eD, unless you are allowed to use multiple boosts per all of the sitting advantages.

I'm providing you with 2 extra boosts, so by my count

1 boost for gravity, 2 boosts from me, and I'm not sure if anyone used @Ahrimon 's other boost, but that should be up for grabs too.

Ah the advantages of teamwork

I have boosts to spare and didn't use anyones.

Fzaexx wants to make a show of helping and would come in too. (Grabbing Khaine's other boost)

2 success, 1 advantage: I'd like the advantage to notice a good hold point should he need to make a quick escape (give himself a boost die on the check to leave)

And he'll take a look around

1 success, 3 advantage: I'd like the advantage to spot me a manifest or other useful bit about what might be on the ship

Finally, are there enough lanterns for everyone? I'm a little fuzzy on what group gear got bought.

It's linked on the first page, 2nd post now. Just let me know what you grabbed and I'll update it. :)

There were enough lanterns for everyone. We bought 6. I threw mine during last battle to light up the area and it got destroyed by a stray blaster bolt.

Nice! Who's wearing the medical backpack?

Since we are all in, and safely too I might add, may I use some of my advantages to find a depressurize button/switch/toggle?

Should I have any left, may I also find a button/switch/toggle to release the maglock?

I have five unused advantages.

If at any point in time we all simultaneously, catastrophically, die a horrible death, that is the part in the story that I will point to as the reason we failed. Lots of pressure...

Overcoming the emergency bulkhead door is too complicated to do with simply spending advantages.

Though regarding the request to notice some other thing, at the back of the room is a coms/sensor station that seems undamaged.

You swivel the seat around and an emaciated skeleton is still strapped to it.

Is there anything else of note regarding the skeleton? Is the coms/sensor station still active?

I think answering either of those questions will require some skill checks. How do you propose to do that?

Perception to examine the body, using a boost from my previous perception check.
