Nothing interesting happening this time.

EDIT: I just assumed that it was landing.

That wasn't for landing, That was to see how closely you could fly to the surface. You did well obviously.

So as an aside, How did you all feel about the combat? From a gameplay perspective I mean. I feel like it went pretty darn smooth my self.

lots of fun. Because of the nature of pbp, I didn't know how smoothly things like turn order would go, but everyone is doing a great job, and the action was easy to follow!

Is it possible to get a turn order listed every few turns along with DP? Like PC PC PC NPC PC NPC PC PC End

Yeah, that would be simple enough. Provided I'm not trying to hide something like an hidden NPC or the like.

DP

So I missed a flip just now. If you flip one can you post the new total using these smileys. They are easy to spot while scrolling.

Perfectly acceptable that you don't show them. We only know turn order for the visible entities. My thought were at the top of every turn order or if something changes.

Khaine will direct the DUM droids while they operate the sensors. They obviosly know the interface (Computers) but have no idea what they are looking for so I will assist and guide them (Intellect).

What about the other button? : 1eA+2eP+1eB+3eD 1 failure, 1 Triumph
a-a.png p-a-a.png p-tr.png b--.png d-f-th.png d-f-th.png d-th.png

Well, I'm not sure what we found, but it's pretty sweet! I can't quite tell if the ship is tricked out with some nice mods or if there's something really valuable in the cargo hold... :D

Combat was fun, outside of not being able to hit anything that is. :D

What about as each person goes they can highlight their spot in the initiative order. So it would look something like this.
P A E P P P N E P
P(C), A(lly), E(nemy), N(PC)

Then everyone would know where that person was on the initiative order and what was next.

Interesting. You are running some diagnostics on the sensors and trying to do an in depth scan of the wrecks below you. At this point all you are getting is basically a visual surface scann, no more than what your two eyes can tell you.

Your Triumph will do this however. You realize that the trouble you've been having with the scanning is not because of the sensors. The dust covering everything down there is actually causing the sensors to fail. Some mineral within the dust and rocks of the moon is at fault.

That should probably work, Although there is really no difference between an NPC an Ally or an Enemy. So it would only be P's and N's.

Hmm, interesting. I think I have an idea on what to do with this.

Hey all! I apologize for the silence. Something I thought would be a non-issue was obviously a very big issue. Props to you all for doing well in the combat and to Ryoden for keeping the flow going.

Gameplay wise, if Fzaexx really is the best at medicine he can step in if anyone needs. Also, he returns after the fight with his own story (IC post to follow very shortly).

Fzaexx made his way down into the bowels of the ship. He finds a:

WHISTLER ENCRYPTION MODULE

Please see page 100 of the Suns of Fortune Sourcebook for details.

Using the codes he established himself four years ago he is able to read out the last several transmissions the device transmitted.

15:24:37.26 Outgoing: This battle is too chaotic we need to do something.

15:25:83.91 Incoming: Has the shipment been moved into the Caravel?

15:28:37.26 Outgoing: It has. Why?

15:30:16.51 Incoming: We should instigate plan B. Move to heading 12.35.261 maintain course and speed.

15:32:67.54 Outgoing: Fine its done, give me a warning before the impact.

15:32:99.82 Incoming: 30 seconds

15:38:49.83 Outgoing: Well that certainly worked. Half the crew is dead. I'm boarding the Caravel in a moment. Make sure you vaporize the Minstrel as soon as you see me launch.

My personal vote, after what happened at our first landing, is that we find out the condition of each ship then decide which ones we want to land at.

Nice post @Hinklemar but just to clarify they have not actually found the C-ROC yet. You may want to rephrase that to something else.

To clarify, As players, you know that there are those 4 ships out there. Your characters do not know that for sure.

For each ship I am asking for skill checks not to determine "if" you find them but more to represent how long it takes to find them. I am still waiting for a few Perception checks (from @Weedles and Fries , @crookedcrown and @Hinklemar ), to answer that question for the C-ROC.

Fzaexx is lost in his own delusions of grandeur:

1 failure

Also, i remember something about a character portrait being mentioned. Where are we supposed to link that?

I'm working on my IC post, but Khaine would like to head to cargo hold and use the scanners in the walker to scan by the airlock to confirm his hypothesis about the dust. :)

The Hunchback can not stand up within the cargo hold. And on top of that the sensors are mostly situated in its feet. If you want to use them properly you will need to get out and walk around. You also have not found the C-ROC yet (but that is the next thing that is going to happen. I just need to know how long it takes you.)
