@Ryoden What sort of negotiation roll am I looking at here (Coercion is out of the question, expecially since my character knows the Gossam's connections to Colbu the Hutt and their friendly relationship)? I know crookedcrown's success adds some Boost, does my background with the mechanic help as well? I'll need it with my GG in Negotiation

If we can discuss our terms and agree on what we're requesting, I can handle the negotiation!

For negotiations, if I do the check, I may upgrade with destiny if nobody minds -- just to really lock down our funding ;D

I would say this is accurate. Neelig is there to introduce Brin and explain what you are offering. Aramhi was not exactly being public with his desire for the piece of Imperial technology. You recall that he mentioned it in passing and possibly in confidence.

@Weedles and Fries Post in IC what you say to him and well see if you need to roll any dice. After that I'll set a difficulty for the negotiations.

I guess you guys now have a working Hunchback Construction Walker fitted for 0 gravity vacuum work. Congrats. The tractor beam is operational again as well although it does have some corrosion on the lense. Add a setback to the next time you use it and roll dice.

With that in mind, I probably won't use Destiny for my check unless it's terribly difficult ^^;

Imperial Stormtrooper: I was under the impression you weren't friendly with the Verpine (you just knew of him) and simply stepped in after you pointed the guy out. If you say to hold back a minute then of course Fzaexx would comply (though once i get to speak my post is probably unchanged).

Mechanically, i'll take 2 strain to upgrade the next charm, negotiation, or deception check i make against the verpine.

You're right, he isn't really friends with S'zish so there isn't anything going on there.

I feel like it is more of a Negotiation than a deception but I guess you could use either for your roll. And as far as your humble promise is concerned, he doesn't know you from Anakin (he he see what I did there) That's gonna add a setback to the roll. His base difficulty would be one purple one red on but I am flipping a Destiny Point and upgrading it again. Here is the difficulty for the check ( +2eC+1eS )

Destiny Points are now at 3 Light and 4 Dark.

How much should we ask for to fund our venture? Or is that amount going to be set by @Ryoden ? Should we delay our negotiations while @Hinklemar deals with the Verpine? This is more or less happening at the same time, so the way I see it, he could inform us of any updates before or during our negotiations via comlink (we're both carrying one) as long as @Ryoden is okay with that.

If you think it is ok to excuse yourself from the conversation and "take a call" by all means do that. I promise I will reflect it in the difficulty of the negotiations, LoL

I am about to post an IC response from Aramhi. From that I will establish a difficulty for a Negotiations roll for Brin.

OK, its not exactly hard to find TIE fighters (Rarity 4). And we've established that you can find nearly anything on Nar Shadda so we can even treat this like it was a core world (-2 rarity) despite that you're in the outer rim. so a base roll to find one would be easy (P)

However, you are talking about something that is restricted everywhere so lets upgrade that to a (R)

And you are trying to dredge something up from pure memory so add a setback. (RS)

And it's only one part that you are trying to price rather than the whole ship. (RSS)

And I want to use some of my dark side points, so I am upgrading it again. (RPSS)

So Brin is facing a tough Negiation here. Aramhi is no slouch at RRPP. You did butter him up earlier and will get a boost die, but that threat dropped his starting offer. I know what the "real" number is and will adjust that based on the results of the roll you make.

For advantage, it'd be great if the ship has some kind of weapon system. If that's already the case, just guarantee it has a good size cargo bay/ we have it for a while.

Fzaexx's next objective is to get an idea of how long the field will be lightly guarded. If he can't do this on his own, he'll try to find a spacer to give an estimate. For trying to rack my brain, would knowledge education be any help here? If not, any other skill will do.
