@Ryoden Since you didn't specific any details I picked a species for the individual that S'zish knows. If that's alright.
Shadows in the Light (OOC)
That's fine. More for me to work with the better.
Would I be allowed to roll a check to either a. know someone who could help provide equipment for this journey or b. know a couple citizens or perhaps one of my herdsmen that could accompany us as extra hands (due to my connections in Old Duros)?
Edited by Weedles and FriesI can go ahead and accompany S'zish and Fzaexx, if there are no objections.
@Weedles and Fries , I've done a lot IC, you want to go with them?
That's funny, I had just posted that when you did . Yeah, I'd be happy to accompany if that's alright with you.
Edited by Weedles and Friesgo for it!

Sure, I'll keep the difficulty at what it's been for the others. (1eD+1eC)
The Destiny pool is currently at 4 light and 3 dark. And crookedcrown still has not rolled.
I remind you all that you can ask if flipping a point to declare things about your character will work. Like "I know how to speak Huttese", "I know someone who rents out ships on the quiet" or "I know a few Duros mechanics that are willing to help us repair a ship"
I won't let you abuse it and I may veto some things but it is an option.
Edited by RyodenIf you don't mind, I'd like to change my bonus career skill from the junkyard to Mechanics instead of Vigilance.
My character actually does speak Huttese (Per Lords of Nal Hutta). Anyone want to go to the local Hutt and talk? I can translate, but my solo communication stats are not great.
So, yeah...going to need a bit of assistance interpreting this strange roll here:
Streetwise: Garnering Support
:
2eA+1eP+1eD+1eC
1 failure, 1 advantage, 1 Triumph
Would it be alright if I interpreted this as I do not know anyone who could provide the supplies or manpower right away but I gain a trustworthy contact in Old Duros that could?

That's fine. We are suddenly low on mechanical skills.

The failure means that none of the contacts you currently have are available to help. Either provide equipment or personnel. The advantage and Triumph are related but separate.
For the advantage I suggest that you do know where you can borrow some E.V.A suits. Perhaps a friendly crew of Duros has them in spades.
The Triumph is tricky, it is reflective of something you remember or realize related to the roll. How about this? You recall that one of your recent clients, (who likes you and is willing to work with you again) mentioned that he wants the targeting computer from a TIE fighter. You may be able to convince him to fund your group if you talk to him.
Could I make a mechanics check to look over the comm box?
I'm saving any personal DP flipping for when we get up there to find stuff.
Edit: while you guys are out I could gather up our tools and mechanical supplies to work on the ships. (Mechanics)
Edited by AhrimonWoo, it's rough walking into an RP that's already in session! I think I'm all caught up with all the posts, and my character sheet is all ready to go (Brin Baxler, Bothan Smuggler, Charmer and consummate liar)
Below is my destiny roll (sorry, guys!) Also, I'm gonna follow @Ryoden 's lead and like posts to indicate that I've read them (I know it's more important for a GM, but it doesn't hurt, right?)
Initial Force Roll
:
1eF
1 Dark Side
I'm looking for a good place to chime in, but I'm mostly observing the flow ^_^;
@Mattimeo84 , if you're looking for someone to speak to the local Hutt, Brin has a bit of a silver tongue himself so I could join you in that venture. Say... how do you mention someone in a post anyway...?
Edited by crookedcrownUse the @ symbol. So @crookedcrown would mention you.
@Ahrimon yep that works. Thanks!
Let's go try and clear the skies. Get approval for us and maybe ground everyone else.
Sounds like a great plan. I'm sure they'll love us. Hutts are known for their warm temperaments, right?
Can we do a streetwise check to determine if we have any contacts who can get us an audience?
I don't think we need to deal with a Hutt just yet. Right now our potential pilot with a ship is a verpine.
Well, I suppose Brin will just pour himself a drink and put his feet up in the meantime. He's somewhat content to let his allies do all the work, hahaha.

The Com box i mentioned is a standard issue communication interface. The kind that the operator of the Hunchback would use to communicate with other drivers or vehicles etc. The Imperial Data Interface is like a thumb drive that plugs into the Com Box and allows it to interface with official Imperial channels. Basically it provides the pass codes for whatever com system it is inserted into.
Or did you mean you wanted to look over the Hunchback walker in general? That is an easy (+1eD) mechanics roll to understand how damaged it is.
The tools that come with the business are all pretty much used for taking things apart. I will let you use them to make generic mechanics rolls, but you wont get the "right tools for the job" bonus.

We will just go with that you were part of the crew from the beginning and that "Shard" never existed.

This is Nar Shadda. There are ships constantly coming and going. Yes, there is an official port control office, but more often than not a ship only registers with them to establish an alibi. The number crews visiting a sick family member on Nar Shadda is remarkable. There would be little to no reason to register your flight. While there may be a Hutt who makes it their business to monitor the comings and goings of ships on the moon they do not advertise about it.
Before I start working on encounters lets clarify where you all are going and what you are doing.
Fzaexx and S'zish are heading to the Verpine to negotiate the use of a ship. Are Tox and Neelig going with them?
Neelig knows of a source of EVA suits. Those can be collected without any interaction. The source is friendly and will loan them to you without condition.
Neelig also knows of a potential sponsor for the trip. A young Gossam. He is friendly with Neelig but will need to be convinced that he can entrust your group with credits "up front".
There is a walker that could prove useful to your purposes. Is it being ignored or not? Who is working on it?
Are you splitting the party to try and get these things done or doing them in steps?
Neelig will go with and assist Fzaexx and S'zish.
Tox will stay on site, she is going to assist whomever is looking at the walker. Unless Tox can pick up EVA suits on Neeligs behalf.

Tox could get the suits. That will not require a scene or rolls or whatnot. Just a bit of time.
Perfect I can do a little write up that I'll leave when they leave and that accounts for why I'm not just sitting around twiddling my thumbs and they're looking at the Walker.
I'll take a cargo skid with me. That way I don't have to worry about carrying 12 times however many suits I'm bringing worth of encumbrance.
Neelig will need to be there to meet with the Gossam. (It was his Triumph after all). But I need to know if you are doing that as a group first, second or splitting up and doing both the Gossam and the Verpine at the same time. Also recall that Brin is skilled at talking.
