Not really, ive been largely screwing around doing random jank because the only 2 people that regularly show up dont seem to grasp the concept of Armada that well. They do fine in xwing but good god are they bad in armada...rofl...i think ive lost....twice in 6 months?

to give you an idea how bad they are:
I ran an ISD-I as a carrier...ALL of its cards were squadron-related (activating 6 squadrons via Expanded Bays + Token every round is fun! Wulff crew to keep the token ftw), so it basically did nothing but throw naked dice and activate 6 squads a turn. What did it activate you ask? Phantoms....yes...phantoms. 4 phantoms + Saber Squadron + Jonus, and i walked over them. Phantoms are total trash rofl...

I sadly sold my armada collection. Game died locally.
Only minis ive ever sold was my trollbloods for warmahordes. I rage quit out of that game because of local meta being a bunch of rulesharking pricks. If someone is trying to get into the game you dont hold rules over their head to get an advantage, otherwise they do what i did and never come back.
Armada models, well the ships anyway, are cool enough where even if i never played it again they'd be cool on a shelf lol. Not as easy to do that with other games, i have a bunch of my Tau on a shelf to keep the Ta'unar company since he's too big for the boxes my army sits in but thats it lol.

Fan of the Tau, hate Warhammer 40K rules. Might try Shadow War though and get a Pathfinder team...
