Some of my favorite threads are long lists of story seeds for a certain aspect of a given game.
For my games, I would like to be able to flesh out warp travel from time to time, but I think its one of the most daunting aspects of the game to invent material for, so, figuring that I wasn't alone, I started this thread.
Post story seeds(a sentence or two) for warp adventures here. I'll start.
1. The Navigator spots a lone man in a void suite floating in the warp. Is he alive? If so, how did he survive, and why is he there in the first place?
2. The Rogue Trader has a dream about an ancient ship crashed on a warp shoal nearby. If the crew investigates, the ship is indeed there, but what gave the Captain the dream, and what perils await aboard the crashed ship?
3. A fluxuation in the gellar field leaves a small group of crewmen on the outer decks exposed to the warp. The heroes are on a long journey through the warp, what about the warp touched crew members now aboard their ship?
4. The crew is visited by the ghosts of the past crew of the ship, what dark secrete does the hero's ship hold?
5. The heroes ship wanders into a strange region of the warp where the warp drive cannot return them to real space. Can they find a way out before it is too late?
