I am probably imagining this, but is there a Temporary Alliance card for Rebels to allow Mercenaries?

I thought there was, but I cant find the card so am now doubting it.

If you really want to bring mercs into a rebel army though, Saska's an option (if not a particularly competitive one).

I've always found it strange thematically that the Mercs are the ones driving the alliance. Mercs are hired, so it would seem that the Empire and Rebellion would hire the Mercs and therefore the Mercs wouldn't have the Temp. Alliance card. Oh well

The rebels need to take the odd jobs with the mercenaries to gather money for the Rebellion, but would never join the imperials.

It's going to be interesting if they ever get around to Ketsu Onyo. If the only way to get her into a rebel squad is Saska, that will be a bit annoying.

I think we're a long way from having to worry about that. At that point, we may well have an alternative solution anyway.

Also nothing stopping FFG from releasing models with Skirmish cards for multiple factions. There are a handful of characters this would work for.

You can only include skirmish upgrades of your own affiliation. Temporary Alliance does not work on skirmish upgrades - you cannot use it to bring in another Temporary Alliance to your army.
