Battlescribe?

By Eric W, in Runewars Miniatures Game

Anyone know if someone was going to make a Battlescribe system for this game? Seems like it would be a fairly quick thing to make.

There are some issues with it. Like Rune Golems getting Pennons at 2x1 when they are only allowed those at 2x2

Hey there, I wrote those files. Only just got the game myself today but I am always grateful for people letting me know about any mistakes I have made.

That was just a silly mistake with an "and" instead of an "if". Its fixed now, pushing it onto the website takes a few hours. Please let me know if you spot anything else :) .

(You can send me a message on the fourms or use the issue reporter on github .

Good to know! I don't have the game yet so my only past time is making lists...

Loving it. Thanks for the work!

Thanks Steve!

A couple wish list requests:

  • Could we get the Carrion Lancer changed from cavalry to siege? Technically it's a siege unit
  • For the sake of knowing what to buy, would it be possible to have upgrades list the sets they come in?

Thanks, and I have fixed the Lancer category.

I am not sure about how this could be done within Battlescribe. I have actually noted in the data files where each upgrade comes from but I cant find a way to display this information when creating a roster. I think placing them in separate subcategories would get too unweidly quickly. Possibly they could include some initials after their name? But this wouldn't be able to be optional so it would be on every single roster.

You could use the box code. Though it would get annoying when you look at many being duplicated through several boxes.

Yeah, it might be too difficult to be worth implementing. My thought was, someone might be army building, see an option, and then wonder if it's one they have. It's not a big deal. Just a nice-to-have.

Yea it would be really handy, especially with the constant stream of spoilers so people could see what is actually release.. I think its outside what battlescribe is trying to though.
