Tournament list - Thoughts please!

So I am prolly gonna take this list to a store tournament because I think it will be fun. I understand the list is risky, especially with my only true hammer being my ISD who needs to get close but I want to test out this list before Wave VI arrives (especially because it screams for Sloane).

How about swapping out the Shuttle for Jendon? Unless you're intent on moving stuff around with strategic, a double tapping Maarek with Rhymer's range bonus gives you a hammer to your ISD's anvil.

I'm new so it's more of a question, but would having 3 bombers and 2 interceptors give you more hitting power than the 3 defenders?

True but where do I cut? Dropping Dengar to Jumpmaster?

Could strip the Raider down a bit. You got it decked to the 9's, but with defenders you have such solid AS it is probably overkill. Could strip off the Title and Kallus. Reduces your damage output v squads, but keeps reliable flechettes for your Defenders to run quick cleanup while not hampering it's ability to shoot ships at all.

If you downgraded the 3x defender to tie bombers, you could keep the strong AS raider, increase your bomber damage and still find the points you are looking for.

I would recommend pruning the Raider only because that unit in that configuration really really prefers first player, and you just don't have the bid to consistently get it. You might also consider swapping out ECM for RBD for another two points. Dengar to Jumpmaster isn't too terrible here, since everything would just have Counter 1, and you aren't kitted to hold the line and absorb punishment, but to jump around blowing stuff up.

For objectives, if you pick up Jendon over the Lambda (which I strongly recommend, it's vicious with Stele), I'd swap PIC for Contested Outpost. If you don't do the swap, have you considered Targeting Beacons or Minefields to get use out of Strategic?

I can agree with stripping down the raider. This is a good point. I am not going to cut ECMs or swap to TIE Bombers. I know it is expensive but I really want to make Defenders work and this is my first shot at it (and honestly the core of the whole build). ECMs I am keeping because I am ok with this list not regularly going first and ECM is going to, in the long run, prevent more damage than the RBDs.

Interesting point about the objs I am going to tinker with it now and see what I come up with.
