One with the Force question.

By Keithandor, in Star Wars: Destiny

If I have "One with the force" on a character and the "One with the force" dice is in the pool , then the character dies and "one with the force" becomes a support.

Does the dice stay in the pool until a resolve it ?

And then when I activate "one with the force" again , I get to roll the dice into the pool again ?

Is that how it works ? You get two goes with "One with the force" ?

I would be inclined to treat it as you would a card with redeploy, the dice goes back onto the card and could be rolled back in.

Not sure where the answer is, but this question has been asked in this forum before, I believe that Lukas the designer made a ruling on Facebook somewhere that the die does in fact stay in pool and you do get to use it twice in one turn if the character its attached to dies with the die in pool.

Most likely something that will be added to the FAQ when updated.

It's already in the FAQ. Last page, red text.

Thanks

I found the FAQ.

ONE WITH THE FORCE (r42) • When this card becomes a support, its die remains in the pool if it is already there. If it was not in the pool, then it moves from the character to the support.

The reason the card goes back to the die with Redeploy is because it triggers after a character defeated. As part of defeating a character you remove all it's dice from play, character and upgrades.

OWTF triggers before the character is defeated, thus there is nothing happening that would require removing the die.

Dice only come out of the pool when they are resolved, a character is defeated, an event or ability removes/resolves them, and during the upkeep.

Or when the upgrade/support they are attached is removed from play for whatever reason.

Doh, I edited that line while I was typing it and forgot to put that back in. :-D
