Started off as an escalation list back when scum first came out. Boba Fett and z95s with feed back arrays. Turns out, in a regular 100 point list, you can have Boba with VI and EU, and squeeze 4 bugzappers in there. c They make good blockers against aces, and good swarm of shots against large ships like the popular vcx. If all 4 pop feedback, that 4 guaranteed dmg. Goodbye soontir, Omega leader, Inquisitor, and any striker! Boba himself, circles the battlefield looking for a victim, swoops in for the strike, takes a second bite our the rear arc as he dashes out again, and goes back to circling the battlefield. Anything that survives his chomps, can get mopped up by the bug zappers.

Worked really great in the escalation tournament, but aces where also pretty meta back then. Now we have large ships and defenders lol

I like this and really want to try it out. It's simple and effective with a straightforward strategy.

I imagine that first encounters with high PS could take out a couple of your Zs and limit their damage output when they do get to attack. Boba doesn't have too many tricks apart from his re-rolls, but he's always fun to fly.

If I had the cards, I'd definitely be trying this out.

Ya, the trick is keep your distance, maybe let your opponent have range 3 shots if any at all the first round of engagement. Then charge in, spread out, and wait for the blocks to happen heehee. Best block I ever pulled with a z95, I blocked the guys omega leader. Ok cool, thing was, his soontir was right behind, and he was relying on omega doing a barrel role to get out of way, so I blocked 2 aces. He whiffed his attack with the tokenless soontir, and whiffed his defensive roll against 3 natural hits from the range one attack. I still have a picture of it on my phone heehee

I've got other "dumb ways to die" stories for soontir. Basically, after scum came out, I made lists that wiped Palp aces out of my local stores meta lol Which makes me sad cause now everyone's flying large beefy ships and I'm not sure what to fly anymore XD
