What do you want to see in the future?

I want a giant moose mount and some Ents! .... oh, you asked what we wanted for the future not what we want in the present.

Me too!

Well, ok, scorpions will do, and not a bunch of little cheesy guys in a tray. We are talking about a big sucker that can eat a moose mount. But since scorpions really aren't going to be a thing, Valyndra.

You're being facetious right?

But most of all I want more variations of regular troops.

I would agree here. In the vein of the Daqan I'd love to see untrained militia which would do great in fluffy campaigns or as meat shields in addition to more highly trained/elite infantry. And for cavalry options I'd like to see really nimble but fragile cavalry archers that maybe could fire out of side arcs, and heavily armored lancers that hit really hard in a charge. I could go on, though I understand FFG will need to establish the fundamentals for all existing factions before we see any variants. I have no idea what types of canon units exist for the other factions but they could follow similar patterns for fleshing out variant units. Maybe way down the line we'd get multiple cards per a type of model, like pilot cards for Xwing?

Also I noticed on the front of the Lore Guide we have some mage fighting off a bug-like critter, I'd love to see an entire faction of such critters (a la tyranids) or really anything that isn't humanoid at its core. Not sure what all exists in the runiverse to speculate from.

After seeing the moose-monster that Maegan is riding, and taking another look at the scale of the scorpion next to the infantry, I'm nearly 100% sure that Malaana will be riding that as her mount for the first Uthuk hero expansion. I can't wait!

One of the first things I'm doing when I'm done with finals is converting one of my trays to hold the Valyndra lieutenant model from descent.

Let's see...

World peace and unification. A major initiative by all nations to expand space exploration. A refocusing on education and science as mankind's greatest achievement and aspiration. The end of a certain Cheeto-in-chief's presidency. And a bacon cheeseburger.

In this vein, I'd love to see bases packs at retail, much like the bases/stand packs that FFG eventually released for X-Wwing.

I've got a whole tub of Descent minis crying out for conversion...

I feel like the bases are going to be like xwing bases though, in that by the time a couple waves go by you will have more than you could ever need. Although that doesn't help with all the conversions we want to do right now....

I just looked at all of my descent stuff. I have Valyndra and seven other dragons of different types that could be pretty easily adapted. I also have a bunch of the half dragon things from the one expansion. With a little work I could probably put together a skirmish size army of dragons. I would just need to play test a bit to get versions of their abilities that fit in RWM and have the appropriate cost. I may spend more time modding and painting my stuff this summer than actually playing the game.
