are there missions? objectives?

i'm probably skim reading to much.. but are there missions and objectives? other then charge kill?

i noticed deployment cards, but is it like say battle lore.. get a unit on a Forrest section hold it and score points? get a unit from 1 side of the board to another? some one mentioned escort?

The core set (and he future essentials expansion) comes with 6 objective cards. They are similar to the Armada cards. Most provide an alternate way to score points.

Comes with various setup cards to be mixed and matched with objective cards.
