100% agree, Denger crew is much better on a primary / cannon carrier, no doubt. I see a lot of use from him on my Ketsu !

K4 for me just sets up the homing missile, also, it makes me slow roll Bossk instead of going all Leeroy Jenkins and getting him put into a bad position.

I've been experimenting with this build recently which I run with a PTL Ketsu:

Bossk (35)
Fearlessness (1)
Cluster Missiles (4)
Dengar (3)
Zuckuss (1)
Inspiring Recruit (1)
Burnout SLAM (1)
Guidance Chips (0)

Total: 46

Fearlessness and clusters can be a brutal alpha strike when you can get it off (no k4 but I take the TL as my action and have dengar re-rolls for both attacks).

Inpsiring recruit helps post Zukuss nerf (limiting to 2 re-rerolls when needed and where I can do a green next turn), also helps both my ships if they get double stressed from PTL, assajj, stresshog etc.

This is my favorite build, it one-shots basically everything all the time always:

Bossk

  • Fearlessness
  • K4
  • Dengar
  • Zuckuss
  • Cluster Missiles
  • Scavenger Crane
  • Guidance Chips

Ketsu

  • Fearlessness
  • K4
  • Title
  • Engine Upgrade
  • Burnout SLAM
  • Inertial Dampeners

Except Kylo crew ;)

That's the big one I find myself wanting to build around whenever I'm looking at a two ship list. Bossk WILL get kyloed, WILL get crit, and WILL be blinded until dead when RAC with Kylo is on the board, unless you do something about it.

Yeah, I'm all about the slow roll too. Makes it way harder for the enemy to get behind me with Tel right next to him, too.

Depends what he is riding on:

RAC with VI? Fair play.

Anything else. . Kylo is dead baby. . Boba always gets his mark.

Edit: Actually. . now that I think about it. .

RAC with Kylo doesn't auto generate a crit, so that means you need to go from Range 4 to Range 2 at least, plus burn your action AND roll a focus result on three dice.

Then Bossk has to not evade it (assuming only a single hit).

If Ketsu and Bossk catch RAC at range 3, Kylo is dead. Admittedly the effect doesn't disappear but Kylo is dead and RAC has likely taken nine damage.

I need to play this match up. :)

Ever wanted to shoot at something but Biggs says no.... Ordinance is a great back door into shooting what you want to. Yes Biggs isn't in every list, but he will be in a lot of competetive lists, and sometimes you need to burn down a threat, rather than wasting a turn on shooting Biggs.
