This seems like a simplified campaign to me. One thing I hope they do make in the future is a campaign version similar to Armada's Corellian Campaign. to me.

Well yes...it's just a quick bonus free launch event/promo. Not sure it should be compared to a proper boxed campaign expansion for a game that's had 5 waves of stuff.
I wasn't comparing, I was stating that I hope they make something similar.
This looks a lot like a stripped down version of battletech's generic campaign system (campaign without pre written plots). It had a flow chart for what type of match follows a victory.
nonetheless, cool. It will get used
Cool way to tie together the core set objectives!
So first winner deployment card, then Ardus on second match, then Kari.
Hopefully they're still available. I'll have my LGS grab a set

Orders for these launch kits were due by February 23.
Ah, that's what'll be in the launch kit. My LGS tapped me to help their store guy run some OP in shop.
I really hope I can get an order on this in time!

Unless your store already ordered the kit then it's too late.

Are you sure?
The kit has slots for eight players, and we have more than that locally, so my FLGS just ordered several more kits, or so I am told.

Nope. Everybody gets everything. Winner only determines what objective you play next. It's not a competitive kit, it's just a "launch celebration" type deal.
I see this tick-box card is similar to what ffg prepares for SW:Destiny 2nd booster kick-of.
Good to hear there is a copy of each card for everyone.

Good to know I make that supposition because there was a box to mark on the bottom left card. I suppose it was to mark the winner of each round and the price next to it.
As you say prices for 8 players is better.

I'm sure orders were due by February 23rd. If some distributors have left overs I'm sure they will sell them still

Good point. It's going to depend more on what distributors ordered than anything else.
From the sound of things alot of these games are going to end at escort.
Edited by OrcdruidHas anyone done this? Our event is today, and I was wondering if upgrade cards are implemented or not.
Josh and I ran through the launch adventure. We will review it on our next podcast, but basically it's a very good way to get acclimated to the objective cards. Also because of the spit paths there is a good amount or reputability as well.
And for those who want some extra alt art cards we have extra and are giving them away on the podcast!

How's the giveaway gonna work ?

There are a couple of giveaways. First when we get 100 likes on facebook.com/runecasters we will randomly choose 2 winners, we will also choose one of the e mailers who has a question for our expert painter guest in episode 4 (questions due May 3 by 4pm pacific time) and that person will win a set of alt art cards as well.
I see the deployment card in the op, but are the games themselves 100pt skirmishes? Or will I have to shell out for a second core just to play?

For the launch you just use a core set. Most of these are probably done by now.

The ffg center has an event scheduled for may 27th that I intend to go to (it's just down the road), it doesn't explicitly say it's the launch adventure but the launch kit is mentioned. I can't imagine they'd require a 200pt force before releasing expansions but thought I'd check. Thanks
