Lol... Seriously, today has been too much fun! Great story, gruesome horror, unexpected plot twists and turns, an ice cream eating rancor, and now we're throwing down against a telekinetic monster with 3 lightsabers?!?!?!? WTF? This is awesome! ???

I can just see Yorrik strolling back to the ship, soothing the Rancor between mouthfuls of ice cream, while nearby Astrid pushes the statue's hoversled with Griff covering.

... meanwhile, Shard is acting as the station DJ and driving the Miraluka crazy with his music blasting at full volume. It's blind so it's hearing would be especially effected... Think about It!

Worra needs to start rapping so when he does he Scathing Rhetoric it comes across as Public Enemy, KRS 1, or Rage Against the Machine.

And Bennar had the biggest shot of the game... 13 pts in 1 shot? Wow!

Lol well that was 13 points of stun damage, not wound damage. I built a combat doctor, he won't be much good at too much else. Do we know if he is a rival so strain and wounds are the same or is he a nemesis so they are separate?

That's a good question. Assume a nemesis but everything we set up for the rancor involves Stun so once those snares go off and all the other stuff... even after reflecting and soaking she's going to be Very unhappy. Although Yorik will be knocked out shortly as soon as one of the snares trips...

Ok that's what I was thinking. Also, forgive my noobishness, but what happens when you are knocked out due to strain? Do you take a critical hit? Can I heal you to wake you up? I'm relatively new to the system so that one I'm not sure on.

Edit: Just pulled out my rule book to answer my question. Looks like exceeding strain makes you incapacitated until reduced back to under your threshold. No critical injury or anything though.

Sure! I think we're getting ready to head out, but figured it would be a good idea to have someone out there with me, in case this encounter isn't quite finished yet. @jnrschulz

I'm laughing out loud reading @TheShard 's comments... LOL :) This story arc has been fast, furious, and FUN!

So I think we should at some point incorporate into an agency. I think its a little early, but with the empire and republic both in chaos, professional fixers might be very marketable.

Really, I just want to have an office with kletus answering phones and nix in the back yard eating ice cream as a bouncer.

@TheGuardian118

Shard is gonna grill you, mighty suspicious he thinks, but he's mighty suspicious in general.

Also he's gonna make you firm up your back story hehehe :P

@April

So I brought this up before, the idea of doing either voice or text for a live session, what are everyone's time zones and general schedules...?

Discord is a very fun tool.

Also to get an idea of personalities and just cause it's a fun exercise, anyone have actor(s) they feel would be casted if our team of fixers got its own spin off series?

Lol no worries, I'm having fun with it. I'm trying not to say too much till my character gets to know you guys. Kind of a I'll tell you once you tell me, as we wait to see who shares first. I think we're all employeed by Zando, but I don't necessarily know how the whole group feels about him yet so I don't want to reveal my connection. Might be overthinking it, but it's working so far.

I currently run a game via Skype over voice with some friends, it's a lot of fun, but schedules can be an issue. I'd be open to trying a live session via text or voice if the scheduling worked out, even if it's not 100% attendance. Text we might be able to do just with the forum instead of using another tool. I've used discord a couple times for voice while playing DOTA, but am not very familiar with it. Voice you definitely lose a lot of the in character dialogue, but it also moves the story along faster which can be fun to. Just a very different medium.

I'm in Eastern time zone and I work normal business hours. I would have to do it either in the evening (6:30pm or later) or on a weekend my time.

I agree with everything you said about voice, I agree a lot more exposition via post!

I'm EST and I basically work till 2 pm m-f, I could, if I find a good enough noise cancellation mic to do it Syu work, as my work is mindless and repetitive.

I'm also EST. I have a pretty flexible schedule at present, but this is likely to change soon.

It would be easier for me to participate in a text-based session, but I'm not sure that would be considerably different from the quicker exchanges we do here on the forum?

I live in the central time zone. Work until 6 pm.

Only an hr off not bad!! @April , I think our gm might be harder case.

Take a load off, hero. I was stressed the frak out just watching you out there. Take a break- we'll prep this outing.

I wasn't trying to exclude you from your shopping excursion- just thought a short break, or even a power nap, might help you recover some strain before we head out. @Cartergame

I completely understood and no worries! Yorik was hurting and almost unconscious. The sentiment was genuinely appreciated! :) Besides, he needed to stay beside Nix to make sure that we didn't suddenly find ourselves dealing with a rampaging rancor tearing up the Hind.

Now, though, I'm wondering if we should outfit the ship to look like more of a "mining vessel" rather than a pleasure yacht. We head to Yavin IV & drop off the rancor, then head to Tython, get the information we might need from the Libraries there along with training from the Ancient One and a lead on the Crystal Sword to possibly face Lord Insanire and/or the Acolyte of Screaming...

What say you all? :)

So sorry about the delay folks, it's exam season for me and I got suuuuuper one track minded on exam prep and just completely forgot about this. My exam is tomorrow, so I'll be able to sort everything out really soon

Again, so sorry about just going radio silence there

Durrak looks at the map. " That looks like something out of a game. Are you sure it is correct? "

Thanks for this, @jnrschulz

Astrid accepted the Scanner Goggles Zyi handed over, thinking maybe they were modified/ linked with Aye in some way? Otherwise, it looks like her Hunting Goggles are actually a more specialized/ advanced design. @TheShard

Probably are, didn't realize you already had some

I've clearly over-estimated how much this exam period was going to take out of me, so I have to rescind my request to join.

Sorry about all the fluffing around :/

If your exam period is over, and you're still interested, check with @April .
