Hi guys, just picked up and started playing recently and wasnt sure on the following :

Does the monster spawned by the mythos card also move on the turn it is placed or not until the following mythos phase?

If the right symbol is on the Mythos card, it'll move. Assuming that you're talking about the monster spawned by gate opening (or monster surge). There are Mythos cards that make monsters appear at certain streets, but since the Mythos card text is the last thing to be resolved (check p. 9), monster movement step is already gone, so they won't move.
