I want to get a great, well balanced Imperial Aces vs. Aces list with the best pilots the Impire has, 3 on 3. It'll be a friendly coin toss tournament where the squads are set, a few cool prizes too. I think the 6 (unless you guys have better ideas) should be:

Good list? How would you net them out beyond titles and PTL on Soontir? What should the squads be? I tried Soontir, Ryad and Omega vs. Inquisitor, Backdraft and Vader as a test run last night; my dice were solid, I crushed the latter with the former. Let me know if that was a whacked list.

I would possibly consider dropping Vader for a more durable pilot or having Soontir and Omega on opposite teams. Carnor could be a good substitute for Omega and can be built for 31 pts (ptl, autothrusters). What about--

Team 1

Carnor with ptl and autothrusters--31 Backdraft with crackshot, fcs, sensor cluster, lightweight frame, and title--36 Ryad with crack shot and x/7--33

Team 2

Inquisitor with ptl, autothrusters, and title--31 Soontir with ptl and autothrusters--32 Brath with juke and x/7--37

My personal favourite aces right now are duchess, pure Sabah and countdown. Mainly coz I love the tie Striker, maybe switch someone out for on of those and use the spare points for upgrades. I think that's the best option but I am biased. Best of luck keep backdraft he seems to be having great success at the moment (at least in my group, mainly against fenn)
