After some doubts yesterday we played a 400 pts 2 vs 2 scenario with 6 Mindlinked ships

- 4x Black Sun K fighters (free Vectored Thrusters)

- Talonbane Cobra ( 1 pts discount, VTs also)

- Asajj Ventress

Limited ammount of Stress toys in the Rebel fleet. Two Flechette Torps and one Tactician aboard one (Captured) Lambda with EU and better shielding plus white turns.

Casual play and far, far away from Meta.

Perhaps this game was quite flat about mindlinked ships. Simply too few greens in the Ks dial. We fly with all the ships but really not a wise decision. Much worse that a Crack Squad per example. Ok with the Lancer.

Your experience?

I've flown 6 Mindlinked Scyks and had it work quite well. You do have to be mindful (HA!) of stress, but the ships did quite admirably without being "broken."

Yeah, I've used mindlink in epic a couple of times, and I've faced it a few times as well. It is stronger in epic, but not unreasonably so. There are a lot of pilots and upgrades that are stronger in epic, just like there are cards that are weaker in epic. Brobots and step-brobots are much much stronger in epic. C-3PO and R2-D2 are weaker.
