Thank you for doing a Podcast.
However this first episode was very much nothing about nothing. It seemed geared towards someone who has not heard about the game before, but I question how many people like that, will find their way to a podcast about the game.
If am going to be interested in listening to more episodes, there would have to be discussions on strategy, meta and potential strong/weak units. Combinations of units/upgrades and what makes them tick.

Come on, cut them some slack...Its the first episode of a podcast about a game that isnt even released yet, what do you seriously expect aside from some hypetalk? If all you want is numbercontent then wait a few weeks and listen in then.
It was more of a "Hi, welcome and stay tuned" episode introducing the casters to the listeners and I thought it was a great short episode. Looking forward to whats to come!

I am just giving them the feedback they asked for, feedback that is dishonest is worse than no feedback at all. I want them to succeed and create a great podcast. There is a lot of great content out there to discuss. Importantly, the first episode of a podcast is what needs to create interest.
Reminds me of my first podcast for The HotLZ. Good times. A bit short but I hope that there is more coming out!

We hoped to have three episodes out at launch, but some technical difficulties meant we only got the one. Two and three should be up soon!

Hey just listened! I like where you guys are going. A little bland but suppose that's due to it being the first episode and having to set up the premise of the show going forward. That said, i found myself bummed when it was over. The chemistry between you two is great making it a very easy relaxed listen. Also like that you guys are willing to point out your concerns with the game and not just fan boy FFG. Thanks for the content!
Looking forward to future episodes!
PS I'm glad some other people feel the way I do about painting the minis and seeing the quality of the studio schemes. Lol

I hear you, we don't have the game yet and all we can do is geek out about previews. I do think Ep2 and 3 will be more to your liking as we talk about the implications of all the stuff in the preview news. I hope you stay tuned!

Thanks! We are aiming for a half hour run time for the first few episodes to get the content out there, but there are plans to grow the run time! As a fan made podcast we have much to learn and appreciate your feedback on how we can continue to win your support.

I avidly await them. Have you tried using Discord to record? That is what we use now and we sound smoother

We use skype, but only becasue Discord wasnt playing well with the recording software.

I'm curious if your episodes will be available through Podbean. All my favorite X-wing Miniatures podcasts are available through that app. The best part is that if I subscribe, it automatically downloads each new episode to my phone so I can listen even without Wi-Fi or using data, and then it's deleted from my phone after I listen to it, which is convenient.
Either way, I wanted to second that you seem to have a good chemistry. I didn't realize how important that was until I listened to a podcast with poor chemistry, and it was just painful. Looking forward to more of your stuff!

I am working on getting us on itunes, spotify, and tunein. Being a fan made podcast we both have to do some adulting, and the learning curve right now is a bit steep. I hope to have this all figured out very soon so you can subscribe and automatically get us to your listening device. Once we have an RSS feed you should be able to link in in your app of choice as well.
