I'm the Waiqar player, and we will be posting an intro either this weekend or possibly Monday. There are also a few things that I did slightyly incorrect such as "causing a panic on the dial" instead of just treating this as an automatic morale icon.

Compare the Range Ruler to the Movement templates, find roughly what the turns look like and use that to assess your movements.

You can legally measure with the range ruler but not the templates
Ok I figured it was a form of premeasuring just wanted to make sure

What happens is that you get an actual estimate on where what will touch. Less chance of missing a charge my such tiny margins.

I have done that in Armada. It is not super accurate and it could slow a game down a little but not by much.
