Here's my second Firespray-31 ship repaint. I love this ship.

Celestra grey is probably a little on the light side, you want something a little more blue-grey.
It’s like how if you show someone a picture of a federation ship from Star Trek and ask them what colour it is, they’ll most likely say white. In reality the models were painted Battleship grey, but appear white on screen due to the combination of studio lighting and a black background!

Slave1 Repaint
You've heard of Kath Scarlet, this is Beth Indigo.
Way back in the 1990s, my brother ran a Nikto bounty hunter who, of course, "flew Boba Fett's ship" which of course we discovered was a Firespray. His PC had zebra stripe body armor, so I decided his ship would match.
His PC was murderous with a sniper rifle at long range, so. . .
Did a Kath Scarlet in April and then got brave enough to try a Koshka Frost that I finished last night. I hope there is at least a little bit of improvement.
The camera work on Kath is bad and the white isn't really that chunky. I really wanted a ship with bright white and purple, but this might not have been the best model because I think the huge(ish) white panels need some sort of highlighting, but there isn't anywhere else to go.
tried out a "comic style"
I saw the pic before read the text. I was just thinking "what a look it seems like a comic". So you win. 🤣

thanks. I got the idea from Luke @ Gold Squadron and the paintcast. So decided to give it a whirl. it's quite fun. I might do more of them in the future. (actually I know I will). gonna try a T65 next.

With white, I start with a tone more or less the same as FFGs Imperial grey, wash a little shade in certain areas, with what amounts to dirty water, then grade the panels up to just a white highlight.
It would only take a bit of experimentation to achieve the look of a convincing shaded white, rather than a highlighted grey. It's all about hitting the right overall tone.
That's a great looking Koshka. I generally dislike her scheme, but your handling really elevates it
My firespray
my fire sprays - Bobba and my Koshka/any other 2nd FS that maybe needed
hope you like 🙂
@anyone that has painted the Slave I - What colors did you use? (ideally Citadel)
Please share your formula if you have it recorded. I'm embarking on my own repaint after getting fed up looking at both 1.0 and 2.0 versions and thinking it can be improved.
List didn't get the nerf bat I was expecting, maybe these two will see an actual tabletop after all.
And this was my first repaint ever:
Jango Fett’s Slave I:
Finally got around to painting this thing. Not for Boba, but for Emon. Still needs a little something-something, but it's good enough for quarantine.
