much like higher pilot skill is needed for Target lock munition weapons, or even a better example, while arc dodgers need high pilot skill to be effective. non-action bombs (not mines)are easier to use when you have perfect information after everyone moves instead of before. It is kind of like palp pre nerf (perfect information) against palp post nerf (low pilot skill).

Unlike Seismics they are too expensive to just spam out as area denial. So you want to know if someone is in range for sure.

It's too bad it doesn't have an illicit slot. Because i could see two of them with Burnout SLAM and Adv. SLAM escorted by a JabbaBus being really fun to play.

That could very well be why they chose not to put it on a large base.

So, are you suggesting that a bombing Slave One could be a thing with Jabba on le partee bus? Because I could see that...

PS10 bomber... though you could trade in the Andrasta title and have 7 points of cheap bombs to use instead of the big Proton Bomb.

Wow....I'm surprised at the reactions of people who are upset about this article because K-wings aren't available to buy these days. It's not the article writer's fault. Also, they will get back soon enough. No need to hate on the author.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised at how an article like this suddenly drops to nerf discussions about K-wings and Sabine so fast. *sigh*

You don't have to have a high PS to use Bombs effectively. Sure, if you really have to know where people are going to be it really helps, but often enough you can know where people are going to be and drop the seismic charges. Even if it's vs. someone who has the multi actions to get out of the way, it still messes with their plans and where they wanted to be. It's something you can still take advantage of if you plan. Also, I've done very well with Seismic Charges on PS 2 Scimitar pilots. If you drop 4 of them in formation, it can be hard for people to get out of the way. Also, not every ship has re-positioning abilities. I once had the Outrider land right on 4 mines one turn.

It's not, it's FFG's fault for commissioning and/or scheduling it at a time when supply is low. I don't think anyone's hating on the author for that reason.

If true, why not give it to ALL Bombers in the game?

I do believe that the H6 will be introducing a new System that does something for Bombers with System slots. That's the Tie Punisher and H6. I'm sure we will see an evening out of parity soon. Possibly even having the new stuff be superior to the K-wing.

It's gonna be very tough to beat ASLAM/Sabine K Wings at bombing, let alone do it without making the game horrible to play.

I have flown Emon with Crane and a couple of Quadjumpers. Works really well. Quads move ships where Emon wants to drop his bombs. When they die you get bombs back. Add in Intel agent on the quads or quad with maybe Ketsu on the other. Laugh as you are dropping bombs everywhere. Lol
