World's Help

I have been thinking about lists forever it seems, but the new FAQ has completely altered the meta. I have a ton of experience with the Inquisitor and have a decent amount with Omega Leader. Which list do you think is better?

Test (100)

The Inquisitor (34) - TIE Adv. Prototype
Push The Limit (3), Proton Rockets (3), TIE/v1 (1), Autothrusters (2)

"Omega Leader" (26) - TIE/FO Fighter
Juke (2), Comm Relay (3)

Major Stridan (40) - Upsilon-class Shuttle
Fire Control System (2), Inspiring Recruit (1), Rebel Captive (3), Kylo Ren's Shuttle (2)

Test (100)

The Inquisitor (31) - TIE Adv. Prototype
Push The Limit (3), TIE/v1 (1), Autothrusters (2)

"Omega Leader" (26) - TIE/FO Fighter
Juke (2), Comm Relay (3)

Kylo Ren (43) - Upsilon-class Shuttle
Veteran Instincts (1), Fire Control System (2), Inspiring Recruit (1), Rebel Captive (3), Kylo Ren's Shuttle (2)

Oh go with Kylo all the way!

Though I'm not seeing the need for VI or the recruit on him.

I tried Kylo in something like this but with Carnor and OL, giving the opponent all the options on the shuttle stress and shooting Kylo wasn't really great. Opponents will kill your shuttle last every time, and not care much about the one stress that Kylo will give them. I will always pick the electronic baffle over FCS because of keeping things in arc for more than one turn. And its a point savings. I'd go with Stridan if you have to. The recruit could be better than you think with stresshogs probably coming back at least a little.

As far as the new shuttle with Aces, I also very much prefer the HyperWave Comm system to drop the shuttle at PS12 for optimal engagement of it. Of the two lists, I think the first one is better.

Recruit is for the Stresshog which is gonna be in every Rebel list at Worlds.

VI is so I can choose the order to move the ships. For instance, I can move Inquisitor first, clear my stress, Action for TL(Get Free Evade Action). Then Kylo moves, now is in Range to Coordinate, gives Inquisitor an action, Inquisitor Focuses, and then Pushes for a Barrel Roll.

Or if Inquisitor wasn't stressed to begin with. I move Kylo first, Coordinate with Inquisitor, Inquisitor Pushes the Limit, then moves, clears stress, and takes another action.

The Question is, is Stridan's ability good enough to not have as many options with Coordinate? Does not having Kylo's ability there effect how long my Shuttle will be in the game? Is Prockets worth the tradeoff?

I think FCS is a must on the Upsilon. Gotta have an action with those 4 Red's since I'll be Coordinating most of the time. I agree on Recruit. It's been stapled to every Imperial list of mine since Paul's System Open win. I do like the idea of Hyperwave Comm's and being able to drop it last knowing where everyone is going to be.

Coordinating might be difficult on the inquisitor, You might try Vader instead at that point level as well to fully get coordinating between both of your other ships.

Vader is a little too squishy without Autothrusters. I do like it though with Kylo Pilot.

This is the best version so far. Adv Sensors and Coordinate is amazing. I kinda miss FCS, but Adv Sensors has proved to be essential.

Test (99)

The Inquisitor (31) - TIE Adv. Prototype
Push The Limit (3), TIE/v1 (1), Autothrusters (2)

"Omega Leader" (26) - TIE/FO Fighter
Juke (2), Comm Relay (3)

Kylo Ren (42) - Upsilon-class Shuttle
Veteran Instincts (1), Advanced Sensors (3), Inspiring Recruit (1), Rebel Captive (3)

With Kylo Ren shuttle title I like to pair BoShek and Anti Pursuit lasers and rebel captive as this gives out a ton of stress and gives incentive to bump. Works excellently with Stridan. Not sure if this is how you want to play Stridan but it's my favourite way to do so getting the shuttle stuck in their and messing up my opponents.

That's interesting, not the direction I'm going with this list but I have a couple other ones that this would work pretty well with. Thanks!

So I'm taking out Inquisitor and replacing him with Jax. Jax is much better versus R4 and Kanan Pilot. Also, helps against Mindlink too, especially while restricting their maneuvers with Rebel Captive.

Omg, Jax was awesome. Really like that change. The burst damage is so much higher with him in the list. Shuts down their tokens so Kylo's shot does a ton more than usual and Jax's damage potential is 4 not 3 like Inky's was. My list takes a lot of patience though.

Jax is definitely more of an Ahole than Inky, but yes... TONS of practice with him is needed. You'll want to fly him differently than the other interceptors!
