I'm working on a homebrewed Hoth mission. The idea is Deathtrain managed to slip a Punisher through Echo Base's shield during one of the brief moments it was taken down to provide ion cannon cover fire for the escaping transports.
The Imperial objective is to destroy the transport before it escapes off the opposite corner of the mat. To do this, the Punisher must bomb the shield generator to allow the Gozanti to enter the atmosphere with its load of TIEs. The Gozanti must stay in space until the generator is destroyed.
The Rebel objective is to escape off the mat with the transport. This will be much easier if they can keep the Punisher from destroying the shield generator as it will severely limit the Gozanti's movement.
After the shield is down, it will be up to the Imperial player to decide whether to destroy the ion cannon or let it continue to rain shots on their attacking force while they concentrate on the transport. Hit points for the generator and cannon will have to be worked out.
I'm considering play testing this mission with a free combat retrofit upgrade for the transport, like in Mission H1: Evacuation, and a free turret upgrade for the Gozanti. Squad points will also have to be worked out.
