In the op I clearly stated "max 9 ships". No 12 ties possible.
X-Wing at 150 points

I also play a lot of 150-point matches and I enjoyed the following list a lot. The alpha-strike is extreme and you mostly always attack within the first turn when enemy also tries to go for high alphas:
As you can see all interceptors start with an evade or focus token (depending of pilot skill of enemy). You burst into em with 4 or 5 straight and boost (and maybe even barrel roll if neccessary). If enemy also goes forward very fast you instead can aquire focus and a target lock to pop out a lot of damage. Furthermore push the limit provides pretty solid defense or offence for the next turns.
Since the Hyperwave places a token without taking an action you can get two focus or evade tokens on every TIE and so choose good defence or massive offence.
Downside of this list is that you need that alpha within the first turn to get full value of the Shuttle with Hyperwave. Also the list can get problematic when fighting aces. Still you could give it a try since almost noone expects to suffer 12 (or more in range one) attackdice at the first turn.
Surely not the best but a pretty suprising list that can wipe out even biggies (or hit em hard) before they are able to get into a solid position.
