Stridan Snap Squad

Stridan coordinates almost every turn. All ships are PS 4 so i can coordinate as needed, before or after a TIE moves. Snap shot and Operations Specialist Synergize well so i can start handing out focus tokens before combat.

Im not sure if engine upgrade is necessary. Just trying to keep the upsilon on combat after the enemy get behind it...

I don't know if EU is best suited here. I get his range buffing ability so he doesn't necessarily have to stay tethered. IMO those 4 points could be better spent on FCS (nice with that 4 dice gun) and the title. Stress control will be helpful nowadays.

Also, with only a few greens I'm not sold on systems officer. Kallus slots in at the same points and will help make that FCS 4 dice ship punch just that much harder. Doesn't do too much on defense but what non-C3P0 card helps a 1 green ship?

Since he does everything from range 3, he can turtle behind, doing a green at a time and granting TL for the Omegas but I agree that Kallus is a nice alternative.

the EU would therefore only be used to help the big bat turn around trying to avoid getting tailed by more nimble fighters

Nice Kylo build! Expert Handling really should help in keeping the Shuttle on the fight. I just can't see what use would the Inspiring Recruit be to the team...

Do a stationay manouver, do expert handling ( Pattern Analyzer) to go back a little and you ended up with two stress, next turn, do a green and remove both stress...

I built something similar once, but I'm still bad flying large ships, so I couldn't barrer roll with it in the moments I needed to.

I had a similar list idea:

Upshuttle - starkiller base pilot
FCS
Intel agent
OpSpec

4 x Black TIE / Snap Shot.

An extra TIE in my list, but no pattern analyser or TIE/fos.

Stop maneuver, PA---> Expert Handling, clear both stress next round.

The first version of this list had 4 black ties with crack shot. I really missed the S-loop. Each mistake was punished by death. There was great synergy with Operations Specialist but i think Snap Shot in the hands of an Omega will be, we'll, more great :) . Also, having Stridan and every other ship in the list at the same PS helped a lot. I could choose freely who and when to coordinate, giving me great tactical flexibility.

Wow, thats great! A shame Stridan can't get an EPT.

Hux/fleet office and op spec can be overkill but op spec with snap shot isn't always reliable because of not getting in range 1 or actually hitting. But this way you can evade or br with ties and still focus them with stridan. Or focus stridan as well and use fanatical devotion on stridan instead. Its always nice to have multiple focus for your ties for defense though. Exp interface can b tricky for stress but pa really helps. And that coordinate + hux is nice

Mara or rebel captive just depends on how you want to fly. Stridan will be a high priority target so rebel captive seems better. I used mara in one of my games. She was targeted first, did some damage against vader but wss taken out fast. I would have stressed 3 ships in 1 round but he got blowed up lol. My ties came back and killed vader, omega, and vessery and it was against a good player.
