For some reason I was thinking this one was a top 8 cut, haha. Oh well. Grats to those in the top. Hopefully we avoid the absurd number of concessions next tournament!
Just split into 2 zones again based on time zones. Positive (Europe, Asia, Australia/Pacific, Africa) and negative (Americas).
Then open them to anyone, so those of us with awkward schedules can join the groups right for us.
I found that 2 weeks was often a struggle to find a mutually free date. I was lucky to have had very accommodating opponents but my weeknights are often already committed and if the period falls over a weekend with a significant event (Such as a public holiday or a festival) that might only leave a day or two to try and arrange a game.
It might be that I'm just being too difficult and 2 weeks is fine, in which case I'd be happy to take the advice not to enter. Split timezones should do a lot to help with the general scheduling issues, at least.

We had already met each other in round 3, where he did beat me by a MoV of 2 points.
I wanted revange! I didn't get it :-)
This time I chose his Station Assault. The battle went to and frow and there was no winner until the end of round 5 where one last die would decide about victory - either my Forsight runs away, destroying the second station and maybe Yavaris as well or it would be destructed by this last single roll. It needed to be a Hit/Crit. It was a Hit/Crit. I used Mon Mothma for a reroll. It still came out as a Hit/Crit. Darn! :-D
But to be honest. If it would have been a hit, there was good chance that Jan would have taken Forsight out anyway. Well played, Dorrin. It was a pleasure to play against you a second time. Thank you for the game and good luck in the finals!

The second semi final match is over.
I have won after a insane dice luck game. Accuracy are overrated. I rolled only hits and crits. And in the end a structural damage on thecactusman17's Demo was to much. The ISD would have died as well this round. So it was over.
We were playing my superior position.
Sadly we don't have a logfile. But i have a savegame from the end.
Mid of round 4.
It was a really great match. And i totally forgot, that the Devestator Titel works as well against squadrons. After he one shot my Vallen, all the squadrons suddenly vanished out of the front arc from the ISD. It was like deers after a cannon shot.
In the next round the big ISD could finish one Gozanti on long range as well. But this was a predictable loss.
Figured I'd throw this up here as well as the other thread.
The Final match between @Dorrin314 and @Tokra is on for 5 pm UTC Friday.
The date for the final between Dorrin314 and Tokra is set:
Friday 5 pm UTC will be the ultimate clash between the Rebel squadrons and the Imperial squadrons. The last stand between Rieekan and Sloane. The final fight between Light and Dark.
