Hey, I have been thinking about adding two Pokemon TCG starter decks to my boardgames. I have no idea how the game is looking right now, though, so I have some questions:

• What is the latest expansion?
• Which expansion brought the most recent rule changes?
• Do any theme decks in the most recent rules feature Pokemon I might know (last game I played was Black, but I never completed it)?
• Is the game as enjoyable as I remember on this very low level?

I recently bought a "trainer Kit" for £10 form my FLGS, my boy is 6 and was showing an interest.

the trainer kit has 2x30 card decks that you can play against but can also form a single deck of water and lightning. is good value as you get the rules and a couple of damage tokens and a pikachu plastic coin to flip.

If you want to brush up on rules etc then check out the online game, you can win virtual boosters, deck build, etc and get some good strategys up, my boy loves it but would still rather play with the cards. i need to get a couple of new decks to give a bit of variety for him. not sure on the decks and their contents but i'll let him choose the first couple as id rather play spaceships
