I'm thinking about bringing a Luke/Wedge/Garven list. I just got a third Xwing to paint, so I figured now would be a fun time to fly all three of mine!
With my limited collection I keep wanting to fly Luke + Poe but I really can't figure what the third ship should be. That and I still want torps to be relevant on X-wings.
I don't have nearly as much experience as many of the people here but I don't think the X-wing needs a fix. Maybe a title though. OTOH I think that the mod slot has become very important. Yes IA is reached for first, but aces want AT. VT can be good for anyone but especially T-65s or maybe B. ace. Guidance chips almost make torps worth it. Between mechs, pilot abilities, mods, and maybe an EPT you can get these things to fly in very different ways. Now if only a few of the ways were really good.
This list may not be good, but it sure messes with a lot of people.
Wedge: R2-D2, Adaptability (going up to PS 10), Integrated (33)
Wes: M9-G8, Seismic, VI, Integrated (35)
Luke: R5-P9, VI, Integrated (32)
They're all at PS 10, so Imperial Aces hate it, and they hate Wes in general. Anything with agility hates Wedge, so that means most things, and Luke is just really tanky. the seismic torps generally get at least one ship too close. It generally doesn't win, but it can give meta ships a run for their money.
