Glue recommendation?

By Teneyedman, in Imperial Assault Painting and Modification

I enjoy miniatures games and have small children.

As you can trivially deduce from the above information, I need superglue from time to time. The problem is that my "regular but infrequent" usage pattern means I often go to get the tube of Krazy Glue or whatever and it's dried solid. Does anyone have a glue they like that stays good in the tube for a while? Thanks in advance.

I use Gorilla Glue for super glue and have never been happier. Citadel has a nice application bottle as well.

I use Privateer Press, but any glue with a stand-up bottle and screw-on top is pretty secure. Most hobby and games shops should carry various options. Standard super glue in a tube tends to dry out and/or leak.

For plastic to plastic use a plastic weld instead of CA (supper) glue. Something like Plastic Weld by Plastruct is a great product that leaves the join stronger than the surrounding plastic. It comes in a glass bottle with a built in aplicator

Thanks for the recommendations, everybody!

how to keep the tubes from drying out?

do not use tubes.....................stick to plastic bottles
