I really like their boardgame reviews and they are actually pretty funny guys, and them doing a match of armada will probably give a lot of visibility to the game.

It won't be the most serious game you'll ever see, but hey, it's something.

edit: Yeah, engine techs on the Vic... hmmm...

They're uploading older videos to Youtube, this has actually been on their site for a while. It was in fact one of the things that pushed me over the edge to get into the game.

And yeah, there are certainly rules mistakes and whatnot. But it was a nice introduction to the game when I first saw it, and it's very funny! I've watched it a few times just for the jokes.

ahhh I see, thx. I was wondering why they talked about the Glad like it was a new ship.

Most people probably don't go rummaging through old Vimeo channels for gaming videos though, so I definitely agree that having this on Youtube is really good for the visibility. I find that playthroughs are always my go-to content when I'm considering a new game, and good newbie-friendly ones are often rare. All the better if it's entertaining as well!

Yeah this video was what got me to look in to Armada last year. Rewatching now I'm kind if laughing at some of the stuff.

Engine techs on the Vic going speed 1, the corvette not redirecting either bomber shot, or evading the first Demo shot and taking a crit....and that was just in the first few minutes.

But yeah I love these guys and their videos. One of my top board game info sources.
