I used to think Corran was amazing due to his 8 dice salvos at range 1. Then I feared Denga because he could do the same, but every turn. Now there are a bunch of ships that can attack twice in a round, and it got me thinking: What is the maximum amount of attack dice a singe ship can roll in a round? And here's the answer:
Captain Yorr (26)
Lambda-Class Shuttle (24), Collision Detector (0), Inspiring Recruit (1), Inspiring Recruit (1)
“Quickdraw” (39)
Special Forces TIE (29), Opportunist (4), Fire-Control System (2), Pattern Analyzer (2), Special Ops Training (0), Lightweight Frame (2)
Carnor Jax (34)
TIE Interceptor (26), Push the Limit (3), Royal Guard TIE (0), Autothrusters (2), Hull Upgrade (3)
So here's the idea: Carnor flies in about R1 ahead of Quickdraw and Yorr. He makes range 1 a turn before Quickdraw so that enemy ships can't focus or evade to turn off Opportunist. Quickdraw's positioned himself in the golden zone: beside a large base ship at range 1, with both front and rear arcs on it.
Quickdraw shoots:
1. Primary from the front arc for 4 dice with opportunist - Yorr takes the stress.
2. Primary from the rear arc for 4 dice with opportunist - Yorr takes the stress.
3. He takes a shield damage for another attack.
4. Primary from the front arc for 4 dice with opportunist - Yorr takes the stress.
5. Primary attack from the rear arc for 4 dice - Quickdraw takes the final stress.
So, Quickdraw can unload a total of 16 dice in one round, each shot modified by a target lock (and a single focus). What's more is that due to the combination of double IRs of Yorr, it can be done every single round, provided Yorr and quickdraw can both execute green maneuvers.
All in all, Quickdraw can wipe a decimator off the board, by herself, every single turn . Now that's pretty fantastic.
Side note: Quickdraw can also get the most guaranteed damage in a turn utilising accuracy corrector.
