I was wondering if this is legal. I use Deadeye to fire a torpedo, spending a focus rather than a Target Lock. I use a second focus token to modify the attack roll. Can I then get a Target Lock on the defender wi R4s ability?

Seems like this is a legitimate use of focus and R4 after the FAQ changes.

Deadeye is small ship only. Otherwise you certainly can combo r4 and rec spec in that manner of you can get those cards on a small ship.

Try it on Kavil, I believe that's the only contender for this option at the moment.

That's what happens when you come late to the game. I have two of the toilet seats and I think I've flown them once.

I remembered the clarification on the R4 timing about spending the focus but missed the errata on Deadeye. Oh well, better here than on the table.
