Same statline as a trooper, hits harder than a trooper, has better defense then a trooper... same cost. Um? That's not good.

You can only use one at a time (and not three during a single activation) so that's a disadvantage in a lot of cases.

I think you're confusing Dodge and Evade.

Yes, you're right. Way too early in the day for me.

Plus, from a campaign perspective, it takes up an entire open group. I don't see myself using these guys much, outside of early missions and thematic play.

I agree that it would have been nice to have them as a pack of two or three working together, but at the same time I'm very happy to see more low cost units available to players. And it's definitely an interesting unit!

Also pleased that the sculpt looks better than the blurry fan photo we saw a month or so back, where the sleeves looked out of proportion.

Look forward to seeing some wacky jawa builds being proposed!

after seeing Uttini! I was thinking how do I get 6 jawas into a list, then I thought, I'll probably buy 2 and be done. 6 is too many for a one time gag unless I'm playing Vassal

That's what I don't quite get. If I have a Dogde showing, I would use it. I can't think of instances where I would want to add a Block rather than just outright Dodge.

Yeah, I think squirrelfox is right. You're probably thinking of evade.

That being said, I might want to block rather than dodge if I was going against the Inquisitor and he had Deadly. A block's better than nothing.

Soooo... 1 Block, which Surge: Pierce 3 negates, is better than a Dodge, which Surge: Deadly negates...? ; )

you roll dodge, if enemy has deadly, you can still take 1 block and after spending surge: -dodge you end up with one block

Ha! Doh, my turn to get confused. That'll teach me to post right before bed...; )

Alright, point taken, Inquisitor wasn't a great example. Deadly Precision command card might be better.

I like these Jawas. I wish they were packed two to a box, but I guess FFG is hoping for a good Q2/Q3.

Feels like two in a box should've been the done thing, but FFG wanna bleed us for a little more it seems.

The packs better not be too expensive... I'm thinking of getting two myself

The model has always been one deployment group to a box. The rebel spy guy was also one figure to the box for his 3 points.

Really disappointed they didn't put up the card graphic for the Elite versions.
