Sorry, I can't tell, is Vic talking to Mel or thinking? There's no quotes, but it's bolded, not italicized.
The Dusty Nomads OOC
Ok so bold is talking, italics is thinking nothing is action or description
Ok I'll quote rather then bold, it's just easier to do it that way on a mobile phone, and quotes can get lost in large text blocks but I'm happy to accommodate

No worries either way, do what's best for you. I just didn't want anyone to think I required bolding or anything.
And that was towards shishi not ment for mel to hear
How is she not gonna hear? She's sitting right across from him.

The Force?
(That was a joke. I draw the line at Sith/Jedi Ewok.)
If you're worried about Melonie being annoyed, I kind of assumed she's gotten used to snarky comments. She's a roll her eyes kind of girl, not a 'you've called me naive!' kind of girl. And to be honest.... she's used to it. Which makes her all the more determined to prove them wrong by becoming the best criminal ever!!!#heropose
But if you want to make it a thought instead, I can edit.
I'm not saying she wouldn't hear just that he didn't really intend for her to hear. He spoke to shishi, without thinking.
It was said in a quieter then conversational volume, however if she was paying close attention she would have caught it. If distracted maybe not.
Edited by TheShardDunefarble, go ahead and make an Easy perception check with 1 setback for also listening in on the comm chatter coming from the cockpit.
Don't forget the upgrade. ![]()

No idea. I know he's talking about me but can't hear specifics?

Yes. Melonie heard him utter something in a tone of voice she's heard many a time before (probably a few times from Vic himself, this trip) but she didn't catch exactly what was said.
Also, have a Destiny point back!
Edited by Benjan MerunaEdited! Let's try to make sure we're really descriptive, though. A 'mutters quietly as an aside' would have been easier to understand.
For sure! Apologies. It was a quick post to keep the rp exchange going... I usually try to be specific...

Not gonna lie, I'm kind of amused at the idea of Melonie doing more and more crazy things to try and get people to go see the Hutt while everyone else is just, 'nah, we're chill'.
Here I was thinking that Vic was the crazy one!
Vic is actually pretty sane, he just doesn't respond well to being talked down to or disrespected... Or looked at wrong, or...
Since Vics partner framed him ten years ago and the little bear spent it all in the slammer it doesn't make sense for Shishi to still be a criminal. Today I'll tweak it a little and see if I can't come up with something else.
Im thinking Jimbo, Vics former partner, chased Shishi out of town because he saw the Droids as a threat to his smuggling racket, perhaps Shishi or one of the Droids saw something.
Do it up! Feel free to flesh out his partner...
Or that maybe Vic is out people think you might have a way to clear Vics name, which would involve implicating the real criminals...
I can't tell if Vic is flirting with Melonie or telling her to play along. Which, don't spoil it, it's funnier that way.
For my last post I assumed that that airlock in main room also had a exit ramp, if I'm wrong let me know and I'll edit.
Also @Benjan Meruna is anything supposed to happen in the docking bay, or can we just go on our way, once we decide what our way is...
I got the full details of M1, M2 and M3 down. They are rather complex being slightly different each, where only one is with Shishi, such as now, they are basically assistants with the ability to bodyguard in difficult moments, they likely wont hit if they even tried attacking. When together they roll AP to shoot or hit with their tools, nothing fancy but their weapons are all the same offensively so it should be easy to run when necessary.
I must admit it would have been interesting to make a Droid Tech to start, using that 50% cost reduction to make 6 droids rather than 3, for a dice pool of AAAAP! but that can come later if this does end up being a high xp/credit game.
Hey guys! One sec on the disembarking.
You see, there IS a ramp...but the ramp is descending very, very slowly. I'll elaborate in a moment, in the meantime please walk back any actions that take you off the ramp unless you have a lot of pillows handy and some luck.
