The Dusty Nomads OOC

Just me, I think! Give me a moment, and I'll have out the next bit.

Vic, go ahead and make a stealth check against two difficulty with one Boost.

Stealth check: 2eD+2eA+1eP+1eB 1 success, 1 advantage

Ok, I wanted to lay out the scene in mechanical terms:

Shishi and Kara are both not far from the bottom of the ramp. They WILL require a maneuver to get into line of sight of Vic and crew, which would put them at SHORT range.

Little Vic is hiding behind a corner/table/holochess niche. Have managed to sneak back up in a timely manner, Vic can add 1 blue onto his Cool check for initiative when it comes around. He can choose to be hiding within SHORT or ENGAGED range.

Melonie has, I imagine, her arm in Big Vic's (or is close enough to have been doing so) and will start in ENGAGED.

That is how the situation lays as it is right now. If you want to delay the trap to get into different positions, this is the chance.

Melonie would be thinking to lead Vic to the large smuggling hold for sound muffling purposes.

I think that sounds good to me... Unless there is a spot I can just have a sight on him as he enters...

Perfect!!

If is in the floor like the falcon, I'm going to push him in, or tell him to hop in... Not sure yet.

I was assuming it was something like this -

(Number 4 is the spot I'm talking about, with the 'secret hatch' locations.)

Alright, so Shishi and Kara are still out of sight for the moment. With the two of guard duty, they'll be able to raise an alarm whenever you guys take the maneuver to get into short. Big Vic may or may not be able to hear it, depending on how well the sound is muffled.

Melonie, you can assume that Big Vic is still hooked for the moment. That being said, asking him to do anything suspicious WILL probably require further Charm rolls (albiet with an upgrade for your previous Triumph). Asking him to get into a large smuggling hold....might be a little suspicious. It'll depend on how she sells it.

Also, I think it's hilarious that there's a drill for Vic's boots calls.

Folks try to get out of their "docking fees" in all SORTS of ways. (Or all sorts of WEEQUAYS! Hahahah-I'll see myself out.)

You receive no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Melonie is going with the classic 'wanna see my secret love nest' routine.

So I'm probably going to follow him in after they go in, with gun drawn...

I'm gonna say one last Charm roll to see if Big Vic gets cold feet at the last moment. One upgrade from previous successes, one blue for the plausible reason to take him to the hidden compartment. Difficulty 3.

Walk into my Parlor: 2eP+1eA+1eB+3eD 2 successes, 1 advantage

Mwahahaha!

Ok, so at this point Big Vic is thoroughly ensnared. The check for his body guard to hear...whatever goes on will be fairly difficult and upgraded once to boot. At this point, someone please shoot something before I have to figure out how Weequay foreplay works.

Cool... finally: 2eA+1eP 1 success, 4 advantage
a-s.pnga-a-a.pngp-a-a.png

I would like to shoot something, please... cool roll above.

Vic, go ahead and roll yours as well, don't forget your blue.

Cool daddio: 2eA+1eB 0 successes, 2 advantage
a--.pnga-a.pngb-a.png

Should Kara roll for cool as well? I rolled it, but if I wasn't supposed to roll it yet can I re-roll? Below is why I ask...

Cool... or not...: 2eA 0 successes, 3 advantage
a-a-a.pnga-a.png

Big Vic Vigilence: 2eP+1eS 2 successes, 1 threat

Alright, so far it's

And Kara, that depends on what you and Shishi are doing. Are you waiting to see if the bodyguards head anything and turn back inside? On a signal from Melonie and Little Vic? Or just hoping they can handle Big Vic on their own, and then they jump the two afterward?

Edit: I'll start the ball rolling on the 'inner' combat, since that's happening regardless, and what happens there might inform your guy's decision.

Edited by Benjan Meruna

@Richardbuxton What do you think? If they are not worth anything to the hutt is there a downside to jumping them now? Besides from my cool roll... :(

But they might be worth something...

Big Vic taking cover (1 setback to Ranged attacks against him) and shooting at Melonie (who is now at Short after having disentangled from him). That's a single purple for the check.

Big Vic Blaster check v Melonie: 2eP+1eA+1eD 4 successes
p-s-a.pngp-s-s.pnga-s.pngd-th.png

Base damage for his blaster is 6, so that's 10 damage minus Melonie's soak. She's still up and kicking, but not for long without some return fire and maybe flanking action going on.

Now it's personal: 2eA+2eP+1eD+1eS 4 successes
a--.pnga-s-s.pngp-s.pngp-s-a.pngd--.pngs-th.png

I forgot to add the blue for aim, can I roll it separately? Also, Melonie gets an auto-advantage with her pistol.
