That's totally fair, so long as she can surprise them, on the occasions that I do get good rolls. :P

Gusto? Oh... oh yes. Very much so.

Do we know what kind of security would be in the spaceport? Like, not that much if Vic and his bro-pack can hit up landing ships, but wold blaster fire instantly trigger alarms and bring down local authorities? We don't want to give them to the real spaceport officials, after all.

Security on the planet varies according to where you are on it. Judging from the security you do see, you have a feeling that blaster fire would be frowned upon, but slightly...quieter...illicit activities probably get a blind eye so long as they don't damage the Hutt's operations of otherwise cause a ruckus. And as always, greasing a few palms might give you even more leeway.

Streetwise to identify the best place to locate big vic and his weequay friends now?

Streetwise to guess where Big Vic would likely be headed, Perception to try to spot him in the crowds outside the spaceport as he moves away. Two difficulty for both, 1 difficulty upgrade for the Streetwise check (as you're not familiar with the local area) and 1 setback for the Perception check.

Can I get a boost die on perception if someone puts me up on their shoulders?

Actually, could that be a skilled assist? I have a rank in perception but only 2 cunning.

Sure. However, I'm gonna flip another Destiny point on you guys. So Shard, you'll be rolling 1 yellow and two green vs. a red and a purple. I'll remove the setback for getting a view over the crowd.

Could multiple characters attempt the perception check? Since Kara has 3 cunning and a rank in perception.

Only one, but I'll use whoever has the best score. In this case, Kara would make the roll and someone could do an unskilled assist to give her a further blue.

Can only one person assist?

Yes, only 1 assist per check.

We could try a streetwise to boost the perception roll, but we risk threat. I say we just go for Kara's perception.

Edit: if someone can think of a better way to assist Kara, please post. Reminding her what they looked like and how they were dressed is the best I got.

I'm not sure which is better, since it's either Kara tries it with a setback and a boost, plus 2 ability and 1 proficiency, or if Mel assists Vic it's just the 2 ability and 1 proficiency, with the same difficulty either way.

What do you all think?

If you have a rank in perception, you should do the skilled assist, Imperial. Kara has a good 3 or four inches over Mel. :D A skilled assist is less than a percent higher chance of success, and the extra boost and setback is 6% higher odds of advantage, so I say we do that one.

I could get on kara's shoulders for a skilled assist I have a tank in both streetwise and perception

I have a tank

I do NOT remember that on your character sheet.

Sorry for the slightly off topic, but a thought just occurred to me.... that bounty posting was decently hidden. Would those guys have the resources to do that? They didn't seem.... technologically inclined. Could someone make a computer check or a streetwise check to see if that's unusual?

Hahaha, supposed to be rank

Wait, you do? I thought just Streetwise, ignore my skilled assist offer (fyi, your swpage is off then, it's missing the perception rank).

Nope your right... Darn

Alright, I say Kara, roll with the assist and the setback. Quick, before we agonize over it. Vic, roll streetwise. Go! Go! Go!

I think if this is something that we want to check, it'llhave to be Shishi. I'm not sure the rest of us noticed the bounty was hidden, did we?

It wouldn't be immediately obvious without Shishi saying something, no.

We did they go?: 2eA+1eP+1eB+1eC+1eD+1eS 3 successes, 1 threat

Shishi is happy to follow your intuition in finding the weequay. I'm not sure he would think to mention the stuff being hidden, to him that is obvious. But what I'm unsure of is if he would realise those weequay must be working for someone with more powerful contacts, Shishi isn't the most Streetwise individual even if he is intelligent and Cunning.

Kara spots him about two blocks down, but you're going to have a setback on your check to either tail him unnoticed (skulduggery) or force your way through the crowd to get over to him quickly (athletics). Both two difficulty.

Edit: this Skullduggery check can use either Cunning or Agility for the linked attribute, given the circumstances.

I vote for tailing them to a quieter area.

If we fail tailing him, then can we try to force our way though the crowd?
