No worries! I don't mind inititive, if I have something in mind I'll do what I just did. Honestly, I prefer that because it means the game doesn't get hung up waiting for me to narrate minor details when you guys are all online and I'm not.
As a warning, I'll be pretty sporadic the rest of the night. Hopefully I can get one or two more posts on so you can meet the fine gentlebeings waiting on your laboring ramp.
I want to charm. I'm gonna charm. Does anyone object to me charming? I can also negotiate, but I don't really want to pay the fakers at all. Aaaaaand, if they like us, maybe they can help us find business.
Shishi is checking out the docking bay and its local occupants, Perception difficulty?
His opinions have been voiced in the IC, but your the captain.

I would not be offended if literally no one ever takes Melonie serious as Captain, btw. That's 100% her mental process, not something I would argue about in or out of character. (In character she may pout because 'come ooon guys, how come no one takes me seriously?!')
What's the charm difficulty, actually? Maybe if I get a good charm roll I can boost my negotiation.
Edited by DunefarbleWhat would the check be to try and determine any identifying marks on the Weequays' clothing/person?

Kara is on the fence about whether to pay the fee or not, she would not care much either way.

2 difficulty, 1 setback for the slightly distracting looming thugs kind of in your way being all thuggy.

The Charm roll will be 3 difficulty for the group, 1 boost for Melonie being an attractive female paying them attention (normally they have to pay for the privilege), 1 setback for them being more interested in credits than chatting even with attractive females. The negotiation roll will depend on what Melonie is offering in terms of goods or services, and of course success/advantage (or fialure/threat) will be applied as well.

2 difficulty, no other modifiers.

Perceiving the Docking bay and its occupants: 2eA+1eP+1eS+2eD 1 success, 2 advantage

So perhaps shishi noticies enough to know how far these Weequay will go before backing down? Will they fight? or likely leave to cause trouble later?
Otherwise Shishi spots some creates stuffed in a corner that could hold potential for his scavenging needs?
Imperial, I think you're carrying over our luck from the last game still ![]()
Kara doesn't notice any identifying markers on the Weequays clothes or gear. However, she can tell that both are cheap and rather ill-maintained.
Richard, looking around you see signs for a scrapyard nearby, which will usually allow solo salvagers to pay a small fee to go through the pile and buy some of said scrap at the yard owner's discretion. The Weequay look fairly relaxed to you, but they also seem pretty confident in their control of the situation.
At least, that is, until a mini-wookie comes out of the ship in a wifebeater and starts hugging their legs and inviting them for a drink. Melonie, take a blue to your Charm check.
Ah! Oh shoot! I did orokos wrong and did two yellows instead of one! Can I just remove the better one, the success and advantage, and have 2 success, one advantage?
Sorry ![]()
Hey!
Vic's reaching up to give a good slap in the lower back... He's tall for an ewok (that's not saying much) lol.

Sorry
I'll take that as an acceptable sacrifice....this time.
Gm: Whose big Vic? Is he complimenting me?

Vic never gave anyone his name that I saw. As far as you can tell, the Weequay was referring to himself in the third person.
Oh no ****! The Vic's get together! Two Vic's in one town mens only one thing...
Big Vic and Lil' Vic! You need a Vic Handshake.
Trying for an unskilled assist for Vic, if he has to make a deception roll for the story.
I think we should be careful, if their intelligence is in a certain area (not too high and not too low), they might think that kidnapping the daughter of a grand moff is a great idea (when it would probably be very very foolish). Otherwise they might think making friends is one of the best options.
That (kidnapping) was my concern. It'd be fun, though, at least.
Whats all the fuss about, Vic didn't mention any Moffs?! ![]()
Don't worry I'll remedy today condemn momentarily...
