This is why I think that subfactions would be cool. It would be a great way to parse the available ships into smaller theaters of action.

I will respond with: "Casual? What's that? I'm Tier 4 ."

Yeah your tier system is a little off. But this is what I call tier.

Top Tournament Tier; simply the top of the tournament scene. These are the tournament winners, these are the best and they fly the best.

Mid Competitive Tier; Competitive, but not exactly winning tournaments. Still everyone has to start somewhere and that is here. This tier plays in a lot of tournaments or tournament formats maybe even more so than the tournament players. The end goal of the competitive tier is to get to top of the tournament scene.

Low Casual Tier; if this could be called a Tier at all. This is the casual place with theme or gimmick play styles that don't necessarily win but you can still have fun in this.

Okay you know what Top Mid and Low are terrible examples. This is better,
