As I am getting back into playing X-wing I want to start hosting missions, as I can get my non X-wing friends in on it. (they are super hard core nerds with board games so teaching is not a problem) I would love it if someone has some movie tie-in missions or if anyone could point me towards an EP7 recreation of Starkiller base. I currently have 12 TIE SF and 8 T-70 so it should not be a problem to do something fun with that. I also have 12 tie fighters and 6 T-65s, past that 2 of every small ship and 1 of every large, 1 of every epic (minus the CR90) The ideal target will be 1.5-2 hours long for as many crazy kids that want in.

I would not mind looking into HOTAC at some point but for starters I want some movie missions to suck the friends in.

Babaganoush's Death Star Trench Run scenario is one of the best written, most suspenseful scenarios I have ever played with X-wing. It really captures the drama and suspense of the climactic battle from Episode IV: ANH. It should be available in the archives of this forum somewhere.
