RAW: Can Fortune Points be used to diminish recharge tokens on Condition cards?

page 14, fortune points only mentions talents and action cards in relation to recharging and therefore in the RAW, the answer is no, IMO.

I might add that to my house rulebook so they can. Any break-age thoughts?

Don't know about breakage but it does seem that the pay-off may be "unequal" at times - as in "so I can use this to get one white die on an action or I can use it to end a condition early that is imposing two black dice or challenge die on that action etc."... E.G., 1 tracking token left on the brief condition, so endure its penalty this round or pay fortune point. If the action matters (it's one where fortune points are likely to be used), then the new option makes the fortune point more powerful.
