The lowest of the low. 12 pts ships

I hardly find it true. Rebel mixed swarms are much better than Scum mixed swarms.

All rebel generics are PS2 and have similar dial (fwd1, bank1) which makes them easier to fly in formation no matter which ships you choose (Z95, B-wing, Y-wing, X-wing, HWK, T-70, U-wing). The same PS makes them also easier to use XX tracres.

Scum generics have mixed PS (PS1/3 for Z95, Protectorates, Quads and HWK; only PS3 for G1A, PS2/4 for Khirax, Y-wing, Scyks and YV-666) and uncompatible dials (no fwd1 for Protectorate, Khirax, Scyk, no bank1 for Protectorate and Quads).

It's very hard to put mixed Scum swarm together not having problems with shooting/moving order and with keeping tide firmation.

Yeah but when you are flying with X-wings, B-wings, HWKs, and U-wing you are no longer flying in a swarm. Swarms are 7-8 ships and for swarms the highest ship cost is 15-18 while the overall average is 13-14 points per ship. Now there is the concept of the mini-swarm (5-6) ships and such, but again that is not a full swarm and in those cases the Z-95 doesn't act as a swarm ship but more of a filler ship in which I already described is the Z-95s best role. So you are not flying them as swarms but fillers when you put it into those categories.

Now as you mention your reason for Rebels having the better mixed swarm is that the dials are more compatible with other ship. But the Rebel swarm only has one other ship and that is the TIE Fighter. Sure the number is capped at 2 as them being all unique more ships becomes exponentially more expensive and having more than two Rebel TIEs drops your list down to a mini-swarm but the TIE-Z-95 is a swarm option for Rebels none the less. The thing is as you mentioned the Z-95 dial doesn't compare to the TIE Fighter dial. Thus flying them as a swarm is a little bit trickier. Now compare the Z-95 dial to the MA-3 Scyk with the light scyk title dial improvements and the dials still don't match up very well, but they do match up better than with a Z-95 and TIE Fighter. Also given the fact that you can make any combination of 8 ships being light scyks or Scumzies, and you have a more flexible list than a Rebel swarm list of Z-95s with one or two TIE Fighters thrown into the mix.

So point still stands; Scum has the better Mixed Swarm, Rebels have better fillers but not exactly the better swarms, and Imperials don't have mixed swarms because their swarm ship is already the best swarm ship.

When considering full swarm - imperials wins due to presence of Howlrunner.

When considering semi-swarm (3-4 fillers), Z-95 wins, both factions are good.

When considering single filler ship - Sunny beats them by lightyears due to very good dial, and just GREAT ability.

Tie fighter indeed ! :)

But for some reason I want to see more "low cost ship" in the game : cloakshape for example !
