Where do you go to get paint

A hobby shop or game store, most probably. For me, the game store we play at has racks for Citadel and Reaper paints. There is also a hobby shop with Testors and a couple other brands.

Outside of that, I'm not sure what to tell you. If you don't have a local store I'm sure there is an online source, but I've never looked into that.

I use a mix of Reaper, Vallejo and Citadel paints. Your local hobby shop should have at least one of those brands. Most webshops that sell miniatures have those too.

I use Vallejo which aren't hard to find online. As far as I can tell, you can mix and match Vallejo with Reaper and Privateer's P3. To start with you might want to look at the Vallejo paint sets that have 6-12 paints, that's a good place to start. Most web stores I've seen have them available.

Hobby lobby carries Vallejo paint if you don't have a game store.
